I found I could solve it in about 30 seconds on the first try... you don't have to move the whole thing around, just slide them around a bit at a time, no need to move the center piece more than once I think... Basically it's easier than it looks, sorry best I can offer!

When you get her down on the floor keep hitting her after you do that a couple of times shell start to crawl then you should either corner her and hit her in the face or go behind her and hit her legs

Save the bullets for her 2nd form and hurt her with your axe or crowbar instead. circle around her. when you position alex in the front he will hit her legs so go to her back and start hitting there. it kills her faster.

You have got the glitch for that part of the level.

Once started on it, you're stuck with it. You'll have to "quit" and began again where you last saved. The puzzle is relatively easy. Just look closely at it. You don't have to move many pieces around and the middle should only move once or twice. Look at it very well before you start.
