I went into the sewers and there is a part where u lift up gate 15? and then u have to defeat 3 of those long legged creatures and then a big creature like the one outside the police station parking lot comes out. i defeated the three long legged ones and then ran back to save and the big creature never did come out and now im stuck in that little area and have no idea what im suppost to do? does anyone know how to get out?

I wait for it to come into the main chamber then I let it trail me out so I can get to where the save is because if I stand in the little room, he can't get me and I can attack him, but it never works.
