Make sure it's for PS3 NOT PS2

Check the disc you bought coz there are certain types of discs either r1, r2, or r3. R1 usually runs in any type of television. however, r2 does not as it requires television that are only in HD. If you're tv is in hd, no worries as it can support all types of discs.
