Sometimes free kick is like a piece of cake, if you know how to take them. I have been practicing on my free kick for more than one month and now I'm very good on my free kick.
If you are using a left footer like Lionel Messi standing at left side of the post. move your analog stick to the left post and press o very lightly. If the left footer is standing in front of the wall, move your analog stick to the left hold down L while shouting.
If you are using a right footer do the opposite.
notes: Never press the o for too long!

To #3, you must be playing on beginner because you cant score that many in only seven games and seeing that #2 was laying for Portsmouth his player probably wasnt that good anyway

There have been many agreement about taking free kick on Fifa 09 PlayStation Portable. If you have been looking for tips you got it. I'm against Fifa 09 because most of the players can score a goals from free kick.
Taking a free kick from the left side.....
When you are taking a free kick around 40 or below meters, make sure that you take a short look at the keeper before you take your shot. If your player face the left side of the post, tap the left arrow until the ball face the post. slowly press CIRCLE until the bar is half full. while shooting. Then release the CIRCLE.You must AIM at the top left corner. 9 out of 10 times the ball will be in the back of the net.

When you are taking a free kick around 40 meters or bellow at the right side, It is the same possess as the left side. tap the right arrow until the ball face the post. slowly press CIRCLE until the bar is half full. Must of the time, I always score from the middle because It is the easiest position to be. All you have to do is double tap to where the space is. Hold down L while shooting. You can the your shoot as powerful as you wan because the ball won't go over the bar.

Use the same possess as you used for the above. However you have to put more power behind the ball. You can even let the bar fill.

If you want to do a half way goal , after the 85th minute and your in front by one get a corner for the other team and they will call there keeper up.after its kicked get someone with a high long shot and do a finesse shot from anywhere this will work 99.9% of the time
70 to 80 meters goal are very simple, if you know when and how to take them. When you are taking one make sure that the goal keeper is not in his goal by looking at the bottom of your screen and take a finest shot.
The 2 above answers are also correct but you can also score from afar around the box . when you take a corner kick if the goalie punches it out 99.9 percent of the time it will go out of the right or left corner of the box and your player will gain control of it and chest it but press circle (shoot) as soon as he chests it and it will rock into goal works 85 precent of the time :) hope I helped

U cant do it during manager mode but you can do it in game settings
U can, all you hve to do is go my fifa 09 den settings and den change the difficulty level and the manager mode difficulty level will be changed
Before you go to Manager Mode make sure you set the game setting the way you want it to be. You still can do it after you starting Manager Mode. Just go back and change the game setting. However, the hardest you set it the more money you will make on Manager Mode.

You can only have Arshavin if you have access to the Internet. You have to go to Multiplayer, and then Infrastructure. It will then give you the latest squads.
His previous club was Zenit Saint Petersburg somewhere in the German's league. Just go to to transfer setting and transfer him to Arsenal. When you done click done so it can be save. His kit number might be change if someone in Arsenal already has it. In order to change his kit number, take him to Manager Mode. But his number 32 will allow only in Manager Mode.
