Sounds like you are starting on beginner. if this is the case, you get no gems, you just get bars. you basically only have to hit any of the drums to the beat of the song (the bars on the runway). try moving to easy and you should have gems.

The reason is you have to make another Account on the PS3 it self... allmost every game on ps3 have only 1 save file that is linked to the user on the ps3 itself

All you have to do is go into the cheat screen and go down to the cheat and press no to turn it on hope this helps +,~

Go to options on your main menu then click on cheats and then enter cheat and put the code in then you unlock all the songs

After you put the cheat in, go to it on the cheat menu and it should say 'Quickplay songs' then you switch it to YES/ON
