Use ECHO ECHO. His beams won't affect you at all. When he comes down to face you, just keep echoing (SPECIAL ATTACK). If you have purchased the upgrade to charge his special attack, do so by holding THE SPECIAL ATTACK BUTTON while dodging his grenades..... When he becomes the silver colored form, just stay away from him and keep echoing, you r done with TECHANODON! JUST TELL ME WHETHER IT WORKED, COZ I SCRWED HIM THAT WAY IN 1 GO!
Use echo echo.kill the pod thingys first.theres 2 below and 2 up above.to go to the ledges, run-jump to it then quickly double jump to the other ledge on top before you get hit by the vines or the ledge collapses.then quickly jump to where the pod thingys are and kill it.do the same to the other pod high up.u have to kill all the pods before worm thingys come out or you will have to do it all over again.if you have successfully done that,a ledge will appear in front of the wildvine. you can attack him from there.it gets harder and harder because he throws grenades then spin vines all over him while throwing grenades. -Answer by:Kupal
Jump across (not up) to the other ledge as chromestone and throw out a right punch as he starts to reach the rock face - this gives him an extra movement
First of all don't worry about killing all the spiders just concentrate on the vines in the 4 corners, once you've have killed these then you can jump into the middle. I used echo echo as he is small, use your echo to turn wild vine red. Keep repeating the above process then eventually you will kill him. Hope this helps.
Ok, when you say vines, do you mean the pods that the spiders jump out of. And you mean I should blow them up before they even jump out of them.(which takes about 3-4 blasts from Chromastone). DO that for all 4 pods and then climb to the top and while falling down shoot Centre wildvine? Is there a platform that appears? or just while falling past?
Cos I just keep playing till the pods dry up and I've full life (INFACT I got 27 lives gained from saving and replaying).
Did you also know, changing back to Ben replenishes your life slowly?
Hey I got it.
You dont have much time. Really Echo with quick 'A' kills pods. Must get around to the 4 of them. Then pedistal in centre appears. Wallop/ shoot Wildvine when he'd red. A bit each time.
But boy he starts throwing bombs and tentacles, luckily I got life restore and made it through. THanks
Stay in one place for 1 sec. then get out of there quickly because the vine will come out where your standing then attack it with any alien.do that over and over until both of it dies -Answer by:Kupal
Use any alien to keep hitting him and then when he tries to get more health from that platform thing hit it on the right side where the big part is there if you hit it you will also get health power ups
Use goop and when he uses his tummy attack press down then dodge the slams and block the spins when he puases attack finally when he uses the guns go to the very side and when he gets their attack

Use chroma stone with X,X,A when he is doing nothing it kills him in on shot! this is seriously NO joke!
Get swampfire move out of the way and burn it with your special attack.

You can beat up the vines by having Swampfire and pressing A to let out those 3 fire projectiles. Oh, did you know that the ice crystals contain something nice?
You have to beat/play the minigame....i just kept playing and then chromastone became unlocked 4 me.....also chromastone is for the ds version only....good luck!

You unlock it after completing the second stage in PS2, wii or PSP. The DS version will only let you acces 5 of Ben's alien forms. The same goes for all versions. The DS version have Swampfire, Humongosaur, Echo Echo, Goop and Chromastone. The other versions have Swampfire, Humongosaur, Big Chill, Spidermonkey and Jet Ray
