On the platform next to the guy that keeps asking you for clean water there is a push button/intercom switch that you push to swing the ramp over to you from the boat. Then you can enter rivet city.
Pres the intercom on the broken bow :-)

U may of encountered a problem like me where you had pressed the intercom but when returned back to Rivet city, the bridge wasn't there.... Just reload your game away from the bridge and return again. :)

HelpfulAll you do is leave mines and throw gernades. It tend to do the trick.
In my opinion, you should do as the kid tells you his father did, "Shoot for their anntener", in other words, shot their Anntenae, and in a language for simple people, shoot the big long tings coming out of their head. This causes them to frenzy, and to attack other nearby ants. So I used it on Warrior Ants, and as long as you keep a safe distance, the ants will kill each other off. -Answer by:Snake101

If there is a big group of them, I find making 1 or 2 of them frenzied works a treat. shoot the antenna and they go mental and theres usually only one left with very little health, a swift bullet to the head works after. If that doesn't work, stay at a distance and just spray with an assault rifle or minigun...works a treat.

Go into the abandoned house, and you will find items randomly placed in the front room. each of these makes a noise. if you listen to 'Betty' whistle, she will whistle a tune. try and remember it. go back into the house, and click on the objects to the tune. if you cant do that, the objects make a deep buzzing sound if you press them in the wrong order. keep trying different combinations until you find the right one............ thats what I did anyway, only took me like 5 minutes

You should use the first 10 Level ups to buy the skill which lets you add one point to your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Attributes. Of course there are a lot of cool skills you could pick but you will also gain better Dialogue options,carry more stuff,have more points to distribute to level up....you will notice later on in the game that buying these skills early really helps a lot.

Okay, this could take a while. Firstly, make sure you have reaced the stage in the main game where you have visited the Citadel, spoken to Sentinel Lyons and received Power Armour training from Paladin Gunny (otherwise you can't use the armour anyway!). Next, travel to Underworld, inside the Museum of History, and visit the 9th Circle bar on the upper level. You need to speak to a Ghoul named Mister Crowley, who only shows up after 10pm. Agree to kill the people he asks you to, and this will start a side quest called "You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head". Visit the places that he marks on your map, and either by Speech, pickpocketing or force (depending on how you want your Karma to be) get the three keys from Dave, Ted Strayer and Dukov (Tenpenny doesn't have a key, Crowley just wants him dead). It's best to talk to each of the three first, because you can learn why Crowley wants the keys, and where Fort Constantine (and the armour) is from them. Return to Crowley, give him the keys, and follow him as he leaves for Fort Constantine. When you get to the Museum entrance hall, kill Crowley and take back the keys. Don't kill him inside Underworld or the whole place will turn on you. Fort Constantine is a LONG way North-East, so travel there and enter through the CO Offices (the smaller building). Negotiate your way through the Fort, destroying robots as you go, and you'll eventually come to a room with two locked doors on your right, and one on your left with a dead body in front of it. If your Science or Lockpick skills are high enough, you can secure a massive haul of weapons and ammo from the rooms on the right, but it is the room on the left you need to go in. Take the Warhead Storage key from the dead body and enter the lefthand door. There is a Fat Man and several Mini-Nukes on a table, and a terminal to access. Do so, disable the stasis field and take the T-51b Power Armour and Helmet. Congratulations! Not only have you made it to the end of this rambling answer, but you have also obtained the best armour in the game. It has the highest damage resistance of any armour, and no Agility or Charmisma penalties, like other Power Armours. The helmet even boosts your Charisma by one point! Just one thing, I have not found any other armour that I can use to repair it with, nor anyone who can repair it up to 100%, so make the best of it while it lasts.
Well their is a good few good aromrs in this game first their is the borther hood of steels aromor not the best but to get any good aromor in the game you have to do training in the game at the borther hood of steels hq but I think the best armor int hhe game is the telsa enclave armor its charged by electricty or somthing very strong

Also, if you wanna um...oh! if you wanna repair the armor to almost full percent, there is not any armor to repair it with, but if you go to canterbury commons and talk to uncle wats-his-face, you can invest in the armor caravans stock (u can do this multiple times for better repair) which increases his repair skill so he can repair your armor
Or this is just the plain easyist way evr give him the keys and get your reward go out of the musem and wait a week or just wait 24hours 7 times go back into the musem and crowly should be in my game he was wareing the armor kill him get it have good bit of ammo just to leave underworld so the people wont kill you and enjoy

Well you can get the armor the first dude said a lot easier if you just get the download "Operation Anchorage" and complete the mission. At the end of it it gives you the same armor with some great weapons and ammo. -Answer by:10flameboy
Well there is always the prototype medic power armor in old olny sewers keeep going south in the sewers fight deathclaws youll find a dead brotherhood initiate he has the power armor loot it and the you have armor that TALKS and automatically gives you med ex to heal your limbs
Operation anchorage holds the best of the best arour.... its the winterized T51-B armour and Helmet that has permanent full percent on its repair cuz of a bug that keeps it there so you can keep using it ova n ova 8D 8D 8D 8D 8D

Hacking is a process of elimination. You need to locate the correct passcode in a series of duds. To do this you must first select any word on the screen, lets say for example you selected the word ACCOUNT and you got a score of 3/7. This score means that the word ACCOUNT has 3 letters in the same place as the correct password.
A straight forward hack should go as folows:-
ACCOUNT - 3/7
RESOUND - 4/7 (now you know that the OUN are in the correct place)
AGROUND - 4/7 (you now know that the D is also correct)
UNFOUND - 7/7 (you should be able to get the password after the 3rd attempt by a process of elimination)
If you are still unsure of the password after the 3rd attempt simply exit the terminal and start again to save the risk of locking yourself out.

Go through the random code and you'll notice some group together for example ( ' ) or ['!%] these will remove duds, also one of these will replace your attempts so it might be a good idea to have a few guesses first.
Also if you cant guess on the third try exit terminal and re-enter to get 3 more trys without worring about the terminal shutting down
The best way is to use the third guys activity with the first twho guesses because it knocks down a lot of bad choices. Then use the process of elimination to finnish of the remaining words. -Answer by:10flameboy

How do I repair the T-51B power armor, I want it at max?

I've tried everything I can think of to repair it, but nothing works. I don't seem to be able to use any other set of Power Armour to repair it, and I haven't met anyone who can repair it up to 100%. Seems like it's single use only. Bummer.
It can be repaired by the Caravan Traders. Go to Canterbury Commons and talked to Uncle whats-his-name. He will give you an option to upgrade a certain Caravans stock. Upgrade the Armour Caravan (it can be upgraded more than once). Doing this will increase the Caravan Traders repair skill thus repairing the T51-b Power Armour more efficiently. -Answer by:viapurico

I believe you can use the expansion pack mothership zeta (alien epoxy) also another expansion pack operation Anchorage has winterized t-51b
The caravan traders are the best for it, but I have never had to repair the winterized T-51B armor
Activate the 'Mothership Zeta' Mission and talk to the wastelander that you save (don't remember her name) and she'll repair anything to 100%, But it'll cost ya.
NOTE: You'll only see her that one time, after that you'll have to use 'alien epoxy' that you'll find, and you'll find more aliens with epoxy to use.

I use frag grenades to kill them quickly, but if your low on them use a high powered rifle (assault, lazer or plasma) and aim for the tail. You get the same hit percentage for it as the torso, plus if you manage to cripple it you sustain much less damage from them. -Answer by:viapurico

Ok you have to complete part of the main story until you get to a place called the citadel, then you find senior (not sentinel) lyons in the lab get his permission and talk to gunther in the court yard and viola! you can wear the power armor

You must go far into the main storyline of the game untill you get to a place called "The Citadel." Then you must ask Senior Lyons (old leader dude) if you can get permission to be trained in Power Armor. Just north of the Minefield,u will see a house that is destroyed. It was destroyed by a crashed UFO. go on the other side of it and you will see an alien with the ALIEN BLASTER. Be suree to pick up all the ammo lying around, those are very hard to come by!

Theres also another type of alien blaster that come by random events called the firelancer , that can be manipulated. And in the expansion mothership zeta there is another weapon called the captians side arm it is a sort of alien blaster shotgun

At the gnr building they tell you to get permission from elder lyons, and to go to gunny in the lab. THEY LIED. gunny isn't even in the gnr building, he's at the citadel's courtyard, you go there when you're escaping the jefferson memorial with doctor li, so just use something else til then.
Dr. Li talks to Elder Lyons before he gives the OK for your power armor training. This is after completing the Lincoln Memorial quest with the Project Purity scientists and this is after Dad sacrifices himself.
Shearch the web till you find a vid that lets you go into the citedel or something like that erly in the game or even when you leave the vualt happy glitching
He is in "The Citadel," it is a latter place in the game that you can reach after doing the main quest that affiliates Dr.Li. At the end of that quest you will meet a Senior Lyons, ask him to let you train in the power armor, then go to the courtyard and ask the Gunny. When you get out of the metro station you will see 2 Super Mutants don't shoot them because the brotherhood will be fighting them. When you see them talk to the blonde. follow them to the gnr station but there will be a super mutant beimoth then you can go in
Head to the mark on the map once you are there you will se brother hood people outside ask them if you can help them out and you follow them there but there are super mutant centars and mole rats etc so be careful but the will take you there then a super bethmeth and you have to kill that then you talk on a intercom and they let you in
After you kill the behemoth, check out the body of a brotherhood soldier next to the fountain. There should be a Fat Man launcher and 2 mini-nukes on him. This way you get a launcher early on in the game.

After you leave the Vault in the town of "Springfeild" you will find a lady named "Silver" in a old house. If you talk to her there is a number of ways you can get a lot of caps from her. Theresalso a secret weapons cache hidden inside a group of rocks outside the perimeter of megaton just walk up 2 all the rocks around the town eventually you will find 1 that says search weapons cache
The best way is in megaton on the craterside supply but you need some cap by weapons or visit springvale school in sprinvale and kill some raiders you´ll get some shotguns and good ammo

In Fallout 3 for Playstation 3, I have stumbled upon Old Olney by accident. Even after setting the game to very easy, Im still not good enough and don't have the proper weapons to kill those Deathclaws! I do have the ability to fast travel, but not inside and not near enemies. I'm trapped in Old Olney and I can't get out and I can't kill these things! I don't know what to do! Your best bet is to get inside a building, wait for a day and then till 12 in the afternoon when the sun is highest, then step outside, and they should have moved on...hopefully anyway. if not, I suggest waiting till theyre out of sight, and running like hell!

If you have a good sneak skill then use it wisely and move from cover to cover and watch where you are going. yes the deathclaws are hard to kill im level 27 and I still cant kill em
I was having the same problem cause I'm a lvl 8 and didn't have necessary weapons, I found what looks like a trench by the building with the merc. laying at the top of the steps. If you have bottlecap mnes they are the best (can kill with two) or regular mines they will kill the deathclaw, go up the stairs and get the stuff off the dead guy. After you get his stuff go to the right and you'll see the trench, jump down in the trench but don't go into the sewer unless you have the necessary weapons to kill several deathclaws. Once you are in the trench you can fast travel out, that's what I did. But I will be back,LOL.

Have the use of a stealth boy handy and sneak right out.
Best way is to make a dart gun, then cripple their legs so they can't run. One shot with a dart gun to the leg in VATS guarantees crippled deathclaw -- then you can finish them off at your leisure.

This is indeed a difficult location to find. If you go online to look up where it is, go close to that location and search around a little. You will eventually come upon some party banners or streamers of rainbow colors like a birthday party. Search along that rock wall with the streamers and you will find the entrance to the small cave, Rockopolis, and there is a bobblehead inside also.
Its located 3500 ft or so Directly West of Smith Caseys Garage.You will come to a divide in the trail and a small bluff.There will be no entry door just rocks,so its hard to see,look for a stream of banner flags.
I read somewhere that rockopolis is to the right of vault 112

Once you have completed the quest trouble on the home front you will find butch in the muddy rudder in the evening but you have to have low karma to recruit him

I seriously need some help with this issue. I just cannot find the GNR building. I get to dukovs and all surrounding places like friendship height station the national guard depotanchorage memorial faragut west metro and others. but I cannot for the life of me find the chr building.

Another way to complete following in his footsteps is to go to rivet city and go to the lab then talk to doctor li.This finishes the quest and begins a new one called scientific pursuits.If you don't know where rivet city is ask lucas simms in megaton for a map marker. Happy Hunting! =)
The only way to get to GNR is to go thru the friendship heights station. You have to go down into the metro (underground) and come out through Chevy Chase. The metro station is pretty easy but be ready to deal with some Supermutants when you come out. And just before you go into GNR there will be an explosion and a Bohemoth on the loose. Have you missle launcher ready and stay in the cover of the building where you fought the Supermutants.
If this helps................ I also got stuck trying to find the GNR building....... for hours....... the way to do it is find metro station and use the middle of the three levels and find the museum station........... it is on the same line as that dukov station running north south......if you find pensylvania station then you took the highest level and must go back into the metro station and go down a level and look for that damn museum station - I used my map and the directions in the station................ good luck

Yes 20 is the MAX level, but if you get the Brotherhood of Steel add-on, you're level MAX goes up to 30.
Dont listen to shadow blade anyone that is not a good perk to pick here are some reasons why (1) you will most likely allready have every location or you will have mybe 20 or so left so dont waste your last perk on that

Your father in tranquility lane is Doc the Dog talk to Betty and ask her where your father is.She'll say that Doc is a new arrival.Talk to Doc again ask if it's really your father.He will bark twice in the affirmitave.But there are a few more missions before you can brag to your friends and either the next 1 or the 1 after that involves the enclave.

Man, I wish I could've rigged the bomb so icould see Moira Brown's true identity....a mutated zombie!. Anyway you can get a house at Tenpenny instead. If you disarmed the bomb though, you can get the house in Megaton AND Tenpenny. Good Luck!

I wouldnt try geting the expiramental mirv until you have alot of mini nukes because it comes with 8 mini nukes and thats it besides the one you find outside of GNR and pther random ones
You need 5 family transkrips and once you got them you need to find a electrical swich you need a barral or any dead robots to help you get up then when you are on the top you need to go down at the edge you should see a door with flash lights then go down then look behind then you should see a nuka cola vending machine then you will find the electrical swich then activate it and go inside the utility door but there is a sentury bot after you killed it go inside activate another electrical swich and go down then activate the terminal enter the code then utility door opens inside the expermental MIRV BEWARE the glowing one is in that room I hope this is usfull happy blasting!

There is also another way to get a rail-way gun, but I don't think you should try. in rivet city there is a quest where you have to find the dec. of independance not hard to miss the room, he has a bunch of pre- war stuff planes ect. the place you have to find it at is crawling with super mutants so if you decide to go bring stimpacks gun ammo and lotsa boms :)
The easyest way to get it is the one in underworld but you need like 2000 caps

I cant remember the name but I think its north of a power station MBPL- 13. follow the road north until you find a ruined house then search around their. Watch for radscorpions and sometimes a lone protectron.

Do the main quests until you get out of raven rock DO NOT return to the citadel after that or you will have to complete the last quest (which beats the game, and you cant continue to play after you beat the game.
Look for the school near vault 101 on your map go up till you see a hilghted place go there and look for a girl named Bitercup then talk to a guy named pappy a new talking choice should show up go into this loads of times for exp
Heres a good thing to do after you get out of raven rock you can go to the citadel because the level after that you go to vault 82 it has alot of super muties in it you can get good exp from that or you can do the reillys rangers quest mainly just run around the watses and kill things

Yes you can get both houses what you have to do is save megaton and let the ghouls in tenpenny tower and they will give you room free of charge but make sure you wear the mask they give u

When you save megaton you get the key to the house after that go to tenpenny towers go to the balcony kill tenpenny get the keys and you should be abl to walk around th balcony to the door to the room but the bad thing is you can only leave and enter from the balcony

The Citadel is accessed in 1 of the main quests so just continue your search to victory but unless you dont want to stop playing the game do not do the last mission until you r ready.Good Luck.

Or you could just try killing him unarmed. If this doesn't work, the only way is either holster yor weapon or hands, or start the game again(Which is more likely to make you hate the game), or load one of the svaed datas you have on your PS3 that was saved before you went in tranquility lane.

You need to find your dad at vault 112 (smith Casey garage ) then go to river city with him to dr li then go with them to jefferson memorial. you have to help dr li get to citadel - she is your ticket in. I needed a lot of stimpacks to complete all of these. (20)
You know you dont need a lot of stimpacks the energy weopons are the best in the game besides the fatman get it to 100 have the lacer rifle and just keep doing head shots its easy
