I say it is better to do your heart's desire. I hve personally cleared every mjor town in the whole game. I mostly do it to get better stuff.
Umm well im like as evil as I can be atm I do almost every quest I can or til I fail then kill them....

For me EVIL!because regulaters come and try to kill you kill them you get their duster[whichis cool] and lots of experience
Well when your good you dont make as much caps and get stuff but when your evil and kill merchents or other inportant people you will be bountied and about three strong guys come to kill you and it happened to me to deal with them I would use a flamer

I made a good character and a bad one definatly be good because 1. you get free stuff from some woman in megaton if ya didnt blow it up and 2. you get the regulator duster anyway because the leader tells you to meet her at the regulator HQ

Either, good guys get talon mercs on them, bad guys get everyone, but with good your barter tends to be higher because they merchents like you more.

The ones walking around the wasteland are outcasts and you can find their HQ at Fort Independence, the real brotherhood is at the Citadel close to the arlington library

The first time that you want to go back into the building that 3dog is located in, you have to activate a switch thats on the right of the door that your trying to enter.
Defuse the bomb in megaton and Lucas Simms gives you one for free!
OR arm the nuke and blow up megaton and get a a apartment in tenpenny tower from Mr. Burke
If you're evil enough, paradise falls slavers will give you a home (slant, I think its called) if ask around.

Talk to elder lyons about power armor training (in the citidal lab) then you have to talk to Guppy who is in the courtyard with the the people training. then talk to him about power armor training then you can wear it -clint
If youve already completed the waters of life quest you get to go to the citadel where if you talk to elder lyons you can ge permission to be trained by officer gunny, but if you can find some enclave tesla armor its way better and cooler looking! - JON

Try and kill yourself because you go back to the start of tranquility lane and then make sure the first thing you do is activate the fail safe in the abandoned house
When you come out of vault 112 the bad karma doesn't affect your karma.but if you go to paradise falls(slave camp) and kill all of the slavers you get a lot of good karma.

You need all five of the keller family holotapes, then input the password at the terminal to the right of the locked door.

You need the 5 keller family holotapes if you google search fallout wiki the vault and enter keller family refuge in the search bar on the main page it will tell you were to find them all. once you have all 5 go to the terminal and be ready for a ghoul fight and then claim your goodies.

They have a large platform go to the top and use the intercom they will swing the bridge around
The metal platform across the water from Rivet City has an intercom at the top which gets a guard to activate a drawbridge to enter.
There is a platform with a guy that wants water. right next to him is a intercom, activate it and a bridge will swig over.
I had the same problem. instead of looking for the bridge entrance, use the fast travel on world map, click rivet city and it will take you to the exact spot.
Get on the brownish redish dock like thing. You'll find an intercom. Click on it. A voice will say a bridge is coming. A bridge will show up. The same thing happened to me. -Answer by:zombiekid

How do I get to paradise falls fast with out fast traveling ? do I walk or is there a faster way?

If you haven't been there yet you have to walk.unless there is a place closer to Paradise Falls that you can fast travel too first then walk to PF's.
Where abouts is it? I want to get there, but it isnt on my map yet. I just remember from my last game that it was in the middle up the top somewhere

I've reached level Twenty and I cant gain anymore xp. The only way to bump up skills is with bobble-heads and skill books. Is there a glitch where I can keep leveling up?

Samething happened to me, kinda disapointing but you can still max out skill levels with magazines and bobble heads, what ive found is there is no higher then lv20 unfortunately. no glitch to my knowledge

So you cant get it up by killing anyone? and can you still level up and it just say level 20 still?
Unfortunatly no the level cap is at 20. My method is to pick 4 or 5 skills you want mastered and only increase those 5 when you level up I was able to get 5 to 100 and 3 others to 75 in my game.
Look its easy just keep your eyes out you will see glits when you do you can go from level 20 to 30 in one jump
The only way to get any higher than Lvl 20 is to buy the bonus content thats going 2 come out for fallout 3

Is it possable to level up with the hear and now perk after you reach level 20?
Wait until your on level 20 to use the here and now perk to put your self up a level then you have to stop or you can go higher with add on packs
The only way i'v found the way in is by doing the main quest towards the end

There is a Vault 101 broadcast at some point during the game and you have to listen to amata, then she will give you the passcode, and you can get back in to help. THE PASSCODE: Amata
Once your in the citadel go to vault 101 listen to the radioo signal then head on in you have again forever an by forever I mean it!

They don't always shoot you. I cant remember where, but I saw someone getting attacked by dogs, so I killed the dogs and then the person who was getting attacked was a raider and talked to me. he evan traded! so unless its a glitch or something, you can atleast talk to 1 raider

One thing is at the end of the game when you escape the enclave base you egt plagma rifles from the guards an enclave soldiers an they sell for about 500 to 600 a pop(depending on there condition) an you can go bak in to the base an get more an sell them again
Talk to lucas simms about the bomb and get that mission then go to moriarty's there should be a dude in a suit in there named mr. burke. talk to him and he will tell you to blow it up instead of disarming it and win the speech thing that will get you 2,000 caps and a room in tenpenny tower
First disarm the bomb in megaton then go to tenpenny tower it's in the south west go to the top to meet tenpenny sneak up behind him with a strong melee wepon and kill him then once you have enough guns and armor kill everyone but don't let the ghouls in take everything you can carry go back to megaton a sell all the stuff this will get you bad karma next go to your house and make da robot give you water give that to the poor guy out front for good karma
When you are near vault 101 like magaton for instance you will get a distrees meassage from vault 101 and you have to listen to the whole meassage to get the trouble on the homefront mission. You will then go back to vault 101 to help Amata take care of the overseer. -Answer by:Dark Overlord 7
Continue the main story line of the game. After you escort Dr. Li to the citadel return to Megaton you will receive a distress signal from Amata asking you to return to the vault. A message of a new quest will appear entitled "Trouble on the Homefront."
This was wrong I did the entire quest led her to the citadel and went to megaton I got no signal so then I went to the vault and still no signal.

Thats not it, You go to to intercom and it says "The doors unlocked, stop ringing will ya" but the door is still unlocked. I tried going in the back door, but you can't jump on the ledge- so what do I do?
When u complete u gotta shoot um in the head when mr crowley goes outside underworld kill him take the keys go to fort constantine go to the hq beside it keep going down you'll find a dead body take the key off the body unlock the door thats near the dead body and you'll get the best armour in the game -Answer by:coonmister
Get the keys and give them to Crowly wait a couple of days and he will be wearing the t-15b power armor kill him and take it
