When your are in the air and have at least 1 section filled on your boost gauge press the Y button (Game cube controller style).

Listen up now when they give you a grade on the night missions try to get a s
For sonic you need to get B, A or S rank for cirtain medals, and for werehog sonic, you need to get rings, time or exp (the red stuff in boxes)
When you are sonic, you cen get three medals by getting an S, and the same with the werehog, but on the werehog, you have to get a certain amount of rings,force,and do it in time.
Listen if you are sonic the hedghog you have to get an S,A,or B if you are sonic the werehog you need a certain amount of force,rings and do the level in a certain amount of time -Answer by:1phil68
For day stages get as many rings as possible, defeat as many enemies as possible and get a good time, better rank, more medals. same with were-hog but replace enemies with gia force pts
In day stages you have to beat the time and in night stages beat the target time,get as much rings and get all the orbs ( red ) by breaking boxes and killing enemies

First - I think you are talking about the unleashed mode for werewolfs "power boost".
Second - you press R1 and L1 at the same time (I'm assuming that you are playing on PS2 platform)

You have 2 dash .to do that you have to push the left analog stick up twice and when you're up to the part where you have 2 jump just dont stop dashing just press the x button when you are near the cliff and you will jump. then the ring will be solid.

The person who put answer 2 is right get all s rank on the day stages and then you can get all s rank on the night stages but you dont need to after that find 150 items that will come with a sub mission and then finish it and you get 69 moon medals look in all the gaia gates

If its the first shrine, i'll tell you what to do. As Sonic you run as fast as you can (using the boost alot) to the exit. As Sonic (the werehog) beat up the badguys and try to get to the end of the level quickly. I don't know if this is for every shrine but I hoped it helped.:)

How can you be stuck in Apotos? In the sonic one you just run and the werehog one you just beat up monsters then collect Rings and Red things when you beat up Monsters or stuff.If not on a Gaia Gate then ask the church person in Windmill something
On day levels use boost as much as you can. on night levels use unleashed mode as much as you can
Aptos lv1 you need to jump.On ware-hog lv1 jump dash and mid-dash.
To mid-dash you just dash and double jump.

What I do when I play sonic unleashed is do al of the night ones first then all the day ones that always help me along and dont worry you dont stink its proberly cos you havent figured it out yet

Look around for a crate, you can use it by putting it on the very edge of the bridge (but don't let it fall into the water! There is a spare box incase you make a mistake, I think).
Jump onto the crate, and then double-jump across to the other side.

No need of putting any boxes. just use the dash jump to cross to the other side. how to make dash jump? just run and press x double times.
