Well.. they arent in Resistance 2, you just hear about them. You fight one in Resistance Retribution, and that is the first sight of one in battle.
What they are is a cross between a Chimera and a Human. And they are extremely powerful. How they are made? I don't think we know yet... but im not sure.

They're the small harmless bug like creatures you'll see running around wherever you find Grim cocoons.

You have to start a new game level select is just for fun. once you start a new game it overrides what you have already done.

The robots things dont have unlimited shield. as you damage the shield, they take the shield of thier back. use the laark, bellock, bullsye or carbine to take these guys down. (tip: if you are up to the level thats like, full on war with all the cars after you come out of the dark house with the frims, look for a black truck on the left hand side, theres lark and carbine ammo. its pretty far up though.)

Wait for the grims to get a little close so you can kill two at a time. if they are too close them try to melee. also use the magnum secondary fire. helps a bundle. I dominate on superhuman difficulty.

There is no 2 player storyline in Resistance2. If you're talking about the cooperative levels, it should save now. It didn't before, but with the update, player 2's progress also gets saved.
Well how do you get the update? I'm playin' on a PS3 that make a difference?

Play team deathmatch thats the best way, its easy to build up kills with the wraith it holds 200 bullets and has a shield that can block anything except for electrostatic orbs, plus theres a jump trick that everyone uses it's hard to explain but if you try a few matches online you will see the technique, use the prototype ammo or ironheart berserk with the wraith, or my favorite the marksman because of the electrostatic bursts you start with one and its the only thing that penetrates the wraith shield before the shield is actually depleted, hint for marksman use the orb to paint your target then finish them off, also use prototype ammo for your berserk the marksman is basically a three burst sniper rifle and with prototype you can drop enemies with 3 to 6 bullets depending on your aim.

I think you can just select the very last chapter and select arcade mode and do it that way. But i'm not up to that yet.

When you first start off in that section you will walk by the fountain and the door will close and a few bad guys will come out kill them and make it up to that point where you have to hit that switch. DONT HIT IT run back to the beginning of the level and the window to the left of that door will be open and you can kill them all from there and they wont fire back. BE WARN if you fellow team mate doesnt know and you are there picking them off and he filps the switch they will all turn and target you. So watch out. NEED and more help hit me up with a friends request CHAOSTIC also the clan name
Have one person be a medic the other spec ops you need to build up your spec op character so you have invisibility or some land mines place them before activating the button have your medic backtrack to the steps before the switch now with you invisible he's the only one vulnerable kill as many of the hybrids{spec op/invis} while your medic hides don't worry about the steelheads the auger bullets are slow and easy to avoid with the hybrids gone you can systematically dispose of the steelhaeds, it's suggested that you make another psn account for your friend that way you can both be logged in at the same time and there stats are recorded so no more startin at level 0 for them, just build up your stats the more perks you'll have, invisibility is a life saver if your pal dies activate it kill off a couple chumps heal him n repeat. soldier n spec ops wont work you need a medic for sure if your only playin 2 players, also playing it online with other players is a breeze.
Me and my friend ran back as far as we could then sneek up on the hybrids and kill them then if you have one guy be a medic it is easy to waste the steelheads
It tell you when playing the game that if you are playing off line the points will not be offical till you get online if you jump online and the points then dont add up then I cant advise you on anything else good luck
It depends whether you play ranked or unranked matches, I think unranked matches don't give you any exp, so instead of creating a match or joining a created match just go to competitive mode choose what you fancy and start matchmaking (i suggest team deathmatch every kill is worth 1,000exp and you will quickly level up)
In competitve mode select play instead of find game. Be warned, its very hard to win games in this mode

Thank you, ive been trying to find someone who it happend to also, it happend to my lvl 26 soldier all of a sudden was lvl 29 and just recently my lvl 26 spec ops went to lvl 28 without me doing it

I assume this is the skyscraper sized alien you are talking about. When you approach the roof, the screen will guide you to stand at a certain point to reach the cut scene part where a SRPA helecopter/plane flies past. Pick up the LAARK at this point and when the monster grabs you and tries to eat you, shoot it in the mouth. It'll try again giving you time to re-load. Shoot it again and it will drop you on another building....

Go inside the generator and let the swarm get very close to you and sprint through the generator use the pulse cannon to incapatcitate it and run to the next generator you have t do thos 3 times

Don't go in the water. If you have to, make sure the Furies are far away when you do, and get back onto land as fast as possible.

You have to be the second players login in order for it to be the same level
The second player has to have a seperate user on the ps3 and when they hit start they will be propted to pick a user. if you want to play online both have to have the ability of going on line with different login ids on the users player one logs in with his email and password player two logs in useing his email and password ( THEY CANNOT BE THE SAME EMAIL AND PASSWORD)
