No, you don't. The profile settings don't match and the system will notify you that you can't earn trophies using somebody else's gamesave. I think it means that you hit R1 to grab and get in the close-up mode and follow the button sequence provided.

Let the credits play all the way through
You don't have to wait for the credits to pass. MK v.s DC has a bug sometime it refuses to save your accomplishments. the same happenend to me with shao khan. if it says you unlucked shao khn already then just replay the DC story and press R1 at character selection screen to reveal Shao Khan and Darkseid.
