You have to complete any 3 individual musou modes from Wu, Wei, and Shu characters. Then you unlock Cao Cao, Lui Bei, Sun Jian and Diao Chan. Then you complete those 4 musou modes and you unlock Lu Bu. You will do 14 musou modes in all.
Not exactly sure but I think my son unlocked him by beating the story mode with the leaders of their clans..... cao cao.... lui bei and so on....
A1 is correct and the sad part is that the charectors are way different right

It's all a matter of luck. I got the Auburn King on Xu Chang with Sima Yi's forces on normal difficulty. Use 2 level 50 characters with Lady Luck (Liu Bei and Zhen Ji or Xiao Qiao preferred.), and two horse with Find Saddle. Good Luck, dude.
Set your ps2 time to 10 : 17 : 05. Play Shi Ting wu scenario, easy. 2 lv50 lady luck both with find saddle horses. Get horse from saddle crate in southern enterance of the base in center of the map Kill Cao Cao. You will get Dusk Warlord (another name of red hare. Ultimate Dream isn't an only red hare). Train it until it become a red hare. If doesn't work add or subtract 20 second from the time.

Hi ! I've got dapple king by playing Xu Chang Lu Bu side with liu bei lvl 50 as 1P & Xiao Qiao lvl 50 as 2P both with a lvl 5 find saddle horse. DON'T kill anybody with Xiao Qiao & complete all the targets . try to have a horse by killing the officers or destroying a crate . then you should get a consider the world & a heavenly physique horse. then train it to lvl 5 with Lu Bu lvl 50 .

Play the stage he fei castle in either master or chaos mode. just rush sun quan and before 2 min, you have finished the stage with 3 targets accomplished. must also have level 5 horse with high speed stats so you can finish it quickly.
On wu zhang plains master or chaos and use a horse that have a find weapon and kill Liu bei until the reinforcement come then you got 90+ or 96+

All you need is your wepon to have a power-up of flash, and to be moderatly good (70+). Get some mosou going and then attack him with it. After that just dodge and strike, the flash ability will work after multiple attacks.
Go hard at all times he so easy to beat wen you fight him more often he hard at 1st tho I was sun ce lv.1 in beat him keep dodgeing him in attack or just be lv.25 n up then he really easy to beat
Dont fight him one on one. Lure lubu to your party. He is weak...

Do the battle of chang ban kill pesant leader break open saddle box rush and kill liu bie if your really lucky you might get red hare

You can use the time trick for PS2. Turn on your PS2 but leave cover open (so the game doesn't auto turn on) and you will come to the screen with browse settings and the option to memory card/discs. Go to browse setting, there should be an option to change the time. Hope this helps!

I haver red devil but I got it early on before I unlocked Lu Bu. I think it was when I unlocked Lei bei honestly.
First you need to get Liu Bei at lv 50, Then you need to have any horse with the find saddle ability, then you need to go to the battle of chang ban and try your luck....

The game designers are making the games more and more historically acurate. Diao Chan, Da Qiao, and Xiao Qiao never historically existed. the games are based off of the novel, not the historical records

Anyone with weapon with ice. I beat him with zhao yun level 2 spamming his triangle move and just level 2 renbu. it was on hu lao gate easy mode. or get a good horse with high destruction stat preferably level 5 and run over lu bu. even a level 1 character can beat him with a level 5 horse with high destruction stat.
I would be your favorite character and go to free mode and do five battles. then try to beat lu bu. if can't do the same thing. that's how I defeated lu bu.
I beat Lu Bu with Zhao Yun (lv1), Guan Yu (lv5), and Zhang Fei (lv5) on normal and with Liu Bei (lv5) on easy. Just keep juggling Lu Bu with renbu attacks and interm save when you are in red and when Lu Bu is about to die.
Make sure that you stay on the defensive by rolling when he uses charge attacks the after that hit with one of your own or guard and when he hits knock him away and save your musou attack because you are going to need it
