Change the item which is dirty with the new item in the same or better quality..
The bath has to be that of a better quality.

Put in a waste paper basket and one in the room also. This takes the place of a maid, I guess. I also put one in the public bathrooms, like the restaurant, bar etc. and always near drink machines.

There are 2 types of Items - one is Classic - the other is Common. If you are setting up a Classic style Hotel - then you will only see classic items in your inventory. Common items will appear everywhere. Maybe the waste basket you unlocked was classic , and you are in a Modern hotel - then you won't be able to see it. Be careful when unlocking items, that they can be used in your type of hotel.

There are many reasons why a room loses money. Check the size of it against the price you are asking the customer to pay. ie is it 'economy','normal',deluxeI,deluxeII,Suite,presidential. You cannot charge (say) $800 for an economy room, no-one will book it, but like all rooms it has monthly costs, so it will constantly lose money.

After making a receptionist, double click on the receptionist desk. Under the info tab, click on the box under "Wireless Broadband"

You cannot get rid of items which you have already unlocked. Each item has a classification. ie 'modern' 'classic' or 'common' There are two types of Hotel. Modern or Classic. You cannot see a 'modern' unlocked item in a classic hotel, and vice versa. A 'common' item will be seen in both.

When you unlock an item in HG2 - it tells you whether the item can be used in a 'modern' 'classic' or 'common' hotel. If the item is classed as 'common' you can use them in both types of hotel (Modern or classic) however, if you unlock a 'modern' item, and you are running a 'classic' hotel at the time, then you will not be able to see that item or use it - because it is the wrong type of item for your hotel. You cannot 're-unlock' an item. If you don't see it after you have unlocked it, check a different type of Hotel.
Train your staff by spending money in the training icon
Make more rooms like shops and perhaps a swimming pool or rock climbing.
The more money you spend training your staff, the more stars you will get, but it will take a few months. Rule of thumb - spend 700 per month and it will take you 12 months to increase from a 2 star hotel to a 5 star. Then you can reduce your training costs to around 100 per month to keep it that way.

The only way to clear this problem is to click on the '7' at the top of the screen. This fast forwards the game instantly by 7days (i week) and clears all problems like the one you describe. It sets the time to 8.30 am one week later

Guests will respond to advertising. Also, the type of peripheral businesses that you build in your hotel will attract that type of clientele. Try looking at the marketing feature.

You need 3 things to start you off. A good restaurant, a coffee shop, and a bar. You'll soon see them coming in. You can add guest rooms and other facilities when you start making money.

As far as I remember, just double click on a tv set, and check any additional services you wish to offer. All TV in every room type will have the same services.

There are no better snooker tables. It's a game bug that was supposedly fixed with 1.1 patch that among other things lowers people's needs (only available in select languages).
There are better snooker and pool tables, which need to be unlocked by using one of your bonus points for each. The original snooker tables are green. The best one (after unlocking it) is red.

You can start by pressing the 7 day fast forward button (at the top) They should have gone by then. However, if they are still there, I am afraid they are caught in a programming loop. You then need to close your hotel, (drastic I know) but it removes ALL of your guests until you reopen it. They should have definitely gone by then, but you need to get you hotel working again and you may lose a lot of profit. Another alternative is to delete their room and then reinstall it again (if you have saved the layout in the first place)

Make sure your restaurant isn't 'too big' the bigger it is the more costly it is to run. As for everything else, the 'ideal' settings are. 1 cook: 2 dishwashers: 2 servers : 2 Captains and plenty of the 'best' buffet bars. Set the menu to 'buffet, and watch your profits grow.

You must check your marketing information. If you have over 95% of all customers coming to your hotel for that city, then you will begin to lose money. It should be time to close a hotel for a short time to make them go away. You need competition to survive.

There are no known cheats for Hotel Giant 2. All the cheat codes shown on ALL sites are for Hotel Giant only.

Click on the person that wants his room upgraded while he is in his room, then you will se a big buttom that says "upgrade room" and then you can choose which room to upgrade him to and also add a little fee if you like ^^

You can only upgrade someone to a better room - if you have one that is not already reserved or taken by another guest. Anything that is better than the one they are in can be upgraded if available

Just double click the restaurant area, then click on what type of dine you wish to have (french germany america etc). next click on the food item, select the food you want (more than one, preferable all) then click 'add into menu'.. you can check your food selected in the 'menu' item after you double click the restaurant area.

There is no king or queensize bed. When they say Kingsize or Queensize, choose the double bed.

There are two games whiach most people get mixed up with. They are HOTEL GIANT and HOTEL GIANT 2. Although they have similar gameplay - there are lots of differences. ie. There are cheats for the original HOTEL Giant game, but there are NO KNOWN CHEATS for Hotel Giant 2. Also, King size beds, and Queen size beds only appear in the original game HOTEL GIANT. Whereas in HOTLE GIANT 2 there are single doubles and Canopies. It depends on which version you have.

You just need to delete it and put in a new one. That seems to help my customers increase their rating and they stop winning in my game. Same with the toilet being dirty. Just delete it and either upgrade or put in a new toilet. :-)

Choose 'Random Game' then adjust it to your preferences ie number of cities you want to build in, do you want to choose you hotel type or accept the random one given to you. Then hit the button and start your game. remember you have to 'open' you hotel for things to start to happen

I know, I tried it like 18 times but it didn't work.
There are no know cheats for Hotel Giant 2. The only cheats are for the original game called 'HOTEL GIANT' Although it is a similar platform game, it is quite different to Hotel Giant 2. I have both games. and typing in FRONTOFFICE in the main menu of the original Hotel Giant releases the cheats options. This does not work in Hotel Giant 2

I don't think there is any way to solve this problem. customers are never satisfied, just ignore the request same as how you ignore the customers' complaints on not having enough cue stands in bar / billiard room.
