Change the item which is dirty with the new item in the same or better quality..
The bath has to be that of a better quality.

Put in a waste paper basket and one in the room also. This takes the place of a maid, I guess. I also put one in the public bathrooms, like the restaurant, bar etc. and always near drink machines.

There are 2 types of Items - one is Classic - the other is Common. If you are setting up a Classic style Hotel - then you will only see classic items in your inventory. Common items will appear everywhere. Maybe the waste basket you unlocked was classic , and you are in a Modern hotel - then you won't be able to see it. Be careful when unlocking items, that they can be used in your type of hotel.

Its all about setup costs... lower your expenses to setup and maintain and give a discount that will get the customers in the door but not make you lose money- and advertise on tv ( your shops dont have to big huge either

You cannot get rid of items which you have already unlocked. Each item has a classification. ie 'modern' 'classic' or 'common' There are two types of Hotel. Modern or Classic. You cannot see a 'modern' unlocked item in a classic hotel, and vice versa. A 'common' item will be seen in both.

When you unlock an item in HG2 - it tells you whether the item can be used in a 'modern' 'classic' or 'common' hotel. If the item is classed as 'common' you can use them in both types of hotel (Modern or classic) however, if you unlock a 'modern' item, and you are running a 'classic' hotel at the time, then you will not be able to see that item or use it - because it is the wrong type of item for your hotel. You cannot 're-unlock' an item. If you don't see it after you have unlocked it, check a different type of Hotel.

The only way to clear this problem is to click on the '7' at the top of the screen. This fast forwards the game instantly by 7days (i week) and clears all problems like the one you describe. It sets the time to 8.30 am one week later

There are many reasons why a room loses money. Check the size of it against the price you are asking the customer to pay. ie is it 'economy','normal',deluxeI,deluxeII,Suite,presidential. Whichever it is, make sure your price reflects the size. You cannot charge (say) $800 for an economy room, no-one will book it, but like all rooms it has monthly costs, so it will constantly lose money.

You can only upgrade someone to a better room - if you have one that is not already reserved or taken by another guest. Anything that is better than the one they are in can be upgraded if available

There are two games whiach most people get mixed up with. They are HOTEL GIANT and HOTEL GIANT 2. Although they have similar gameplay - there are lots of differences. ie. There are cheats for the original HOTEL Giant game, but there are NO KNOWN CHEATS for Hotel Giant 2. Also, King size beds, and Queen size beds only appear in the original game HOTEL GIANT. Whereas in HOTLE GIANT 2 there are single doubles and Canopies. It depends on which version you have.

Click on guests in their rooms. When blue upgrade icon comes up click on it. A selection of available upgrades appears and price difference (compared to current room) Guests will only move when you change price difference to half or lower.

Make it bigger with more rooms. It probably has to have the three type of beds. Also, high quality furniture would do! Suite = 5rooms so think what pres would like.

Size Matters. The smallest room you build is 'economy' then you go through 'normal' 'standard' 'deluxeI' DeluxeII' ' Suite'all the way up to 'Presidential' This one must have lots of bedrooms, with the finest furnishings you have.

You just need to delete it and put in a new one. That seems to help my customers increase their rating and they stop winning in my game. Same with the toilet being dirty. Just delete it and either upgrade or put in a new toilet. :-)

Choose 'Random Game' then adjust it to your preferences ie number of cities you want to build in, do you want to choose you hotel type or accept the random one given to you. Then hit the button and start your game. remember you have to 'open' you hotel for things to start to happen
They don't work for Hotel Giant 2

I know, I tried it like 18 times but it didn't work.
There are no know cheats for Hotel Giant 2. The only cheats are for the original game called 'HOTEL GIANT' Although it is a similar platform game, it is quite different to Hotel Giant 2. I have both games. and typing in FRONTOFFICE in the main menu of the original Hotel Giant releases the cheats options. This does not work in Hotel Giant 2

That cheats are for hotel giant 1
I have not come across any cheats yet that work for Hotle Giant 2
The cheats are activated after you input the original activation code at the main menu. In Hotel Giant it is FRONTOFFICE - in Hotel Giant 2 it is ........
I tried typing in frontoffice and FRONTOFFICE dont work
At the main menu you type in frontoffice and it shud say cheats activated and then when you are building your hotel you type in the alt cheats ill giv you 1 alt-e is 10.000.000

Just earn reputation points by getting customers to 100% Satisfication And press the I button and then the lowest button on the top left. Then, press the chair with lock and just unlock the items you want to unlock.
There are no known cheat codes to open the hidden items. You can only open them by your customers gaining 100% satisfaction in your hotel. Each 100% customer earns you 1 hidden item of your choosing.
There are NO KNOWN cheat codes AT ALL for HOTEL GIANT 2. The ones that you see only work with HOTEL GIANT (original version) which is an entirely different game.

Don't worry.. Cheats aren't required.. Initially you will have negative returns as you build rooms and facilities.. But later, after you build decent guest rooms and facilities like health club, swimming pool, billiards room and business centres (the most important facilities), you'll start attracting more customers. Offer new packages and advertise your hotel image and your package. This will give you positive returns as long as the facilities offer a good satisfaction level(you may advance the game for 7 days and keep a check on the increase in revenue). You may build the other facilities when the demand is high for each of those facilities. You may also alter the prices and discount levels based on customer needs, complaints, satisfaction and visits. Hope this helps..
