Gallop and Ride
You have to have a lot of sadles and upgrade the guest house
You should have as many saddles as horses you own. You have to keep the horses trust level up too. The higher the trust, the more guests. Make sure you book-in your guest quickly, because they'll leave otherwise. Hoped that helped!
First, you have to get your horses skill level up by jumping over logs and fences, second, you have to have as many saddles as the number of your horses, third, guests usally come between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm after that do other things, fourth, read books, when you read the books for the first time, like guest care, they pay you more for your knowledge, and last but not least keep your stable clean.
Well you have to clean your horse and ride it and do stuff around the barn. also feed your horse. you can also make money by selling foals/horses, the breeding stable, massages, and foal training. also by winning races.
You only get 50 dollars every day for 5 or 6 days
Thats they same thing I do all that and I still dont get money
After you get the riding hall you no longer get money every day you then have to earn the money by training foals
First your horse has to have enough trust. But when you enter the barn , by the silo's there is a black blob type thing. You pick up the saddle and carrie to the stall then you click on the horse and it will say saddle.
It's pretty simple. First you gain some trust by grooming your horse with the soft brush. Oh and you don't have to buy a blanket and saddle becaus the game gives you one free. Well I hope I've helped you! Have fun on Gallop and Ride!
First you need enough trust them you go over by the silos then you will see something on the wall. press the A botton face the saddle then you go put it on your horse. -Answer by:animal lover
To ride your horse, you must first gain its trust. Gain your horse's trust by countinuously brushing it with the soft brush, or successfully picking its hooves. DO NOT use the hoofpick on the frog of a horse's foot this will decrease trust. Also- NEVER brush a horse's head, even with the soft brush. This decreases the trust level as well. You can still brush your horse with the soft brush when it is fully clean. Although putting your horse in paddock reduces stress, it also reduces trust. So, be sure to only let your horse stay in paddock overnight on occasion, not religiously. When your horse has reached maximum level of trust (or just enough to ride it) you are ready to ride. When you enter your barn, to the right of the door on the wall you will see a saddle. Click on it, and bring it over to your horse's stall. Click on your horse's name (that will appear in the bottom left corner of your screen). Your only option will be to saddle your horse (or rename it, but that won't help you here.) Once your horse is tacked, lead it to the gate to the left of your house. If you approach your horse (while it is tacked) from the left side, you will have three extra options: Stroke it, Give it a Carrot (you can collect and hold up to nine carrots by picking them from your garden in your backyard) or Mount it. If you choose to mount your horse, you can ride it around your yard and make traveling with your horse a lot easier and faster.
Happy riding!
Happy riding!
You go to the stable and find the black saddle (right next to the food silo) and click A then click black saddle(1) then lead it out to the gate(by your house)
Your horse has to have a certain amount of trust. you can gain trust by grooming, massaging, and hoof cleaning your horse. When you are grooming, you can press the B button on the remote to change the brush.
You can't just move on after they say hello.
You can't talk to them or respond to them they just say that. And you can't talk to them after they check in. -Answer by:animal lover
You hit the + or - button on the wii remote. + lets them stay, - makes them leave.
Because that horse probably has the highest skill level, in order to bring up the skill level you need to jump over logs and fences, try this every day and then your guests will ride that horse too, then work on the next horse you want people to ride.
It depends on what horse they like. if you have a horse that is well skilled and trustful then that will be the horse they pick.
They will pick the horse that has the most skill and strength. Have you built up only one horse, by riding it?
You have to be sure to keep them all clean and all have trust I had the same thing wrong but than I raised there trust level and all of them got rode the following day.
A1:

You need to have like about 200 dollars and then you can renovate it.
A2:

Try walking up to the sign outside of the building. (Building C in the instruction booklet or the one closest to the main house) It should say renovate, click it and then wait a day.
Training foals can be REALLY frustrating. Move it like a real rope in short, deliberate, and jerked motions. Thats what I do.
Also, check the game manual. It tells you how to change the form of training from motion based to button based.
Also, check the game manual. It tells you how to change the form of training from motion based to button based.
Try flicking the remote away the way they are going if you are doing that then try going farther hope I helped :) -Answer by:animal lover
Feed them carrots when they don't respond to get them to obey
You can change it from motion control to buttons for training? really? that would be awesome! I changed mine for riding but didnt know you could do it for training also
If someone can tell me how to change from the gesture movements to the control pad for foal training, it would be appreciated. in the game manual that comes in the game box, it says you can use the other controls like you can when you race, but I have yet to figure out how to change it for foal training...
I spent hours and hours, it takes getting used to. The most important thing I found was to KEEP THE CONTROLLER PERFECTLY LEVEL. A flick forward (with the controller perfectly level) gets it going, another flick forward speeds it up. A flick backwards slows it down, a flick straight forward (like you're casting a fishing rod right in front of you, not over your head) moves the baby out and a flick towards you, perfectly straight will pull it in. Flicks backward will slow and stop. REMEMBER TO KEEP THE CONTROLLER PERFECTLY LEVEL. Wish I'd have had someone tell me! Good Luck! -Answer by:jordymacmom
You have to press one of the arrow buttons on the wii remote and it will show the tasks you have to complete and you just complete them.
Sorry, but you have too go out riding, I know it is hard but there is hope, when you are just about to push story mode, push setting, then go to riding gesture and choose numb chuk mode and it is a trillion times better.
You cant. you have to ride to get it.
You have to try riding in the fields to get a 1 star rating.
You will have to go riding in the fields, it is really hard to do it on reagular mode, so go to settings or whatever on the home page, then click nunchuck mode, that helps ALOT
I got my 1 star by going to the garden at the back of my house and picking carrots then feeding it to my horse but I still went riding befor that hope I helped:)

Since I don't know what stage you're in, I'll just address generally how breeding goes. When you go to the breeding stable, you have the choice to breed a foal of your own or a foal for a client. If you choose to breed a foal of your own, the horse you choose from your own stable will disappear for (I believe) four days. When they reappear in your stable, your foal will appear in the small paddock attached to the breeding stable. You should take it out every day and train it, but be very careful because I've found out the hard way that it's very easy to accidentally sell it.
When the foal does grow up, you'll be shown a message that says something like 'your foal has grown up, you can sell it or keep it'. The thing your hand will automatically want to do is hit + if you use the +/- buttons, but to keep it you actually should press the - (minus). If you think you might have accidentally sold the horse, go to the "office" and check on statistics. There you can find out how many horses you have. -Answer by:ShiftingLight

Check the foal training place, or any other buildings.
You can check the foal area, if It's not there, then check the stables. If you can't find it anywhere after you've checked these two places, it's probably a glitch.
When you get the message saying your foal has grown up, you have the option to add it to your stable (-) or sell it (+). I think the developers made this option backwards, as usually most people want to keep the foals they breed. You probably pressed the (+) and accidentally sold it, thinking you would be keeping it because (+) is a typical continue-er.
I made the same mistake with my first foal. You probably pressed sell instead of keep. Do you remember if you pressed the + button when you could choose the keep foal button? If so then you sold the foal. When it asks you that question press the - button and the foal will be located in a stall in your barn. Hope this helps!
It is probaly not allowed in the barn bc you have to many horses or its a glitch
A1:

1st question no. 2nd question yes, you can muckout you'r stable.
A2:

Try cleaning hooves on alternate days. It won't cause them to get ill to go one or two days without cleaning even when it says you can, so do three, let the other six go, do three the next day, then three the next. After that they should automatically stagger that way. If one or two horses get more use they might need to be done earlier, but most of the time the staggering works. -Answer by:ShiftingLight
A1:

If you go riding in the fields then there are horseshoes all over! Just look carefully! Some are also over jumps!
A2:

In the fields! when you ride your horse, you will come across obstacles with golden shoes. these get you bonus points which you can spend in the store.
Just go abit further down the aisle to the ladder area and there is this broom thingy..it says hayloft and click muck out
Go in the stable walk two stalls down turn right then there is a broom click that and from there it is easy to figure out. if you cant then click continue and then click it again.
When you enter your barn, you see the first two stalls. Then there is a gap, then the stalls continue on. Go into the gap where you see a broom and a ladder. This is the "Hayloft". If your horse's stalls need to be mucked out, then it will give you the option to muck out your stalls. Click on it. The time it takes to muck out a horse's stall usually depends on how many horses you own, and the severity of manure amount(s) in the stall(s).
When your horse is standing in his stall, walk to the left, beside the ladder in that little inlet thing beside the second stall is a broom looking thing. walk up to it and it will promt you to muck out the stall.
You go to the middle of the stable and click the ladder and then it is clean!
While your in the stable, go down the left. You will see a ladder, and a broom. Click either one of them and click "muck out."
No you look at all the jumps in the field theyre usually on top. There are also some random ones.
There need to be I have 25 out of 28 in first field and can't seem to find the last 3. someone print out a map and mark the spots they don't change so they would be the same in every game. I am going to try but it will take a while.
There are no marks on the map telling you where horseshoes are, so all you can do is just canter around looking. though, some are NOT out in the open and easy to see. there are some shoes in the little patches of woods, but your horse could totally freak in the woods and use up his energy. so watch out. )
A1:

U cant really when your horse is sick u have 2 check on the health and at the bottom of the page it says if you want 2 use it or not
A2:

To administer it, click on "check health" on your menu for your horse and it should give you the option. From what I've observed, each horse only needs it one time, but I haven't played for a really extended period yet, only about 19 weeks. -Answer by:ShiftingLight
It depends you can buy your second horse anytime you want! If you want to breed a foal you will have to wait till you 3rd or 2nd star rating.
You can buy it with bonus points or credits.
You buy it or breed it as far as I know but that's what you do horses are $200-$500
You can buy your second horse in the shop in your office any time you want. You can use credits, or there are about 3 horses you can buy with bonus points.
You have to explore!
They are everywhere you just have to go into places that arent in the open..like in the woody parts there are lots.
I found one of the 100 bonus horseshoes. If you have unlocked the woods it is in the lower left quadrent of the map and it is in the middle of the forest on a hill.
There is a wooden jump in the middle of the woods that has a horseshoe over it that is worth 100 credits.
A1:

Getting gold horse shoes for cleaning hooves, having the horses completely relaxed using the soft brush and using your key pad on the wii remote while in the stall or picking their hooves you can manuver partly around the horse to get to their inside legs making it easier to make them completely clean.
A2:

This means you have to have 5 horses, and they each have to have 2 golden horse shoes on their status. You have to keep all 5 horses, and keep the golden shoe status. You get the horse shoes through grooming, cleaning ther hooves and massaging. After you pass this, you will need $3,000.00 to upgrade the guest house before you will get the 3 stars! Lots of work!
When the guests come you will get a blink from your 'goals' tab. They wont show up until 3 or so stars. Just upgrade the guesthouse and do massages. Once you get a couple of good horses they'll start coming.
I had this problem too. I never did find them on the front lawn, but somehow they just got miraculously booked in! Now I have guests, and I don't know what I did to get them. -Answer by:Sillyhorselover
Try opening the guesthouse first.
Check to see if you bought the guesthouse first if you did maybe you didn't book anyone in yet or it could be a glitch
A1:

You can only add stalls if you add horses.
A2:

To upgrade the other stalls I think you go to a sign beside the barn door the sign will be on your right
When you are leading your horse while it is tacked up, slowly walk to it's left side. Press "A" when you are prompted, as if you walked next to a closed door, and then choose mount. You can also stroke or feed the horse a carrot
You have to go to the left side of the horse and at the bottom left corner it will say "horse" so you click it and it says mount, stroke, and give carrot. your horse has to be saddled to mount it
First you have to lead him out into the yard. Then stop and wait for a second and on the bottom left corner it will say horse. Click on that and it will give you the options to either mount, stroke or feed a carrot. Click on mount.
You just walk over to your horse (really close) and a tiny window will appear it will have three options mount horse, give carrot, or stroke your horse. then click mount and your person will get on your horse. your right it is a fast way to get around. hope I helped =).
Once you're out of the stable, lead your horse a little way from it then walk up to the side of your horse and press A. A little menu on the bottom left should pop up giving the options of Mounting, Stroke, Feed Carrot. You need to have a saddle on your horse to mount it.
TRAIN FOALS! It's quick and easy, go ahead and try. If you can't look up help on that.
Train foals. you can only train 2 a day, but it works. if you have all the upgrades for the guest house, then start accepting guests.. I think the most you can have is 9 guests per day. also if you have more than one horse, put the ones you don't use as much in the stalls and the one(s) you always use out in the pasture. the guests will pay more if they can ride. but beware! the more your guests ride the horses, the dirtier they will get and the hungrier they will get. I finished all the races and everything is upgraded, so idk where to go next. hope that helped
You have to train foals in the riding hall but its kind of tricky
You need to first build the breeding house (across the bridge next to the massage center), then you can breed one of your horses with an available stud. The foal should appear in the foal paddock next to the breeding house after a few days. Hope this helps you. :)
You have to have 2 star rating and have 3,000 credits to build a breeding center and you can breed your own foals or for other people
You need to install the breeding center (which you need to have installed the bridge), take a horse that you own, rent a Sire/Dam (Mom/Dad) and just wait.
A1:

As far as I have seen, they will ride on their own out in the feilds. If you wanted to ride with them the only way I know would be to just follow them around the yard.
A1:

You need to build the bridge, then the massage therapy place and go there to massage your horse.
You must get a one or two (I can't remember, I think one) star rating. Then you go up to a little post that has a sign on it. A box/ window should pop up (not a physical cardboard box or glass window, but like a "window" you see on the computer). It should say you can renovate it, unless you don't have enough money.
In front of the riding hall will be a yellow-white sign, go near it and click A, then select continue using the + button. Go to sleep and the newspaper will say that your riding hall has been built.
You need to have I think like 150 dollars and you can renovate it whenever.
You need to get enough money to do so. Then when you go to the sign in front of the riding hall. It will ask you if you want to buy it.
There is a sign out in front f the hall that tells you the cost . You pay the cost after getting to first rating. if you took care of your horse you would have first rating.
I was told the horse has to be sick! =D (Mimonium)
Blankies? Really? There called blankets and you can only putthem on when your *HORSE* is sick
They are put on when your horse is sick.
Squeeze "B" (the button on the underside of your controller) and the brush will turn over so the pick will point down. Be careful not to press the "A" button when the pick is over the frog of the hoof (the A shaped area in the middle bottom). Go along the outside of the hoof and when you see a stone hover directly over it (it works better than going at it from the top, bottom or side) and hold down "A". If you don't get the message to move on to the next hoof, look very carefully around the far left and far right hand side. The stones sparkle a little and sometimes can be very small. -Answer by:ShiftingLight
Hit B on the wii remote and then once your on the hoof hit A on the wii remote and go over the brown, dirt balls. Be careful not to hit the frog (the dark brown triangle in the middle).
When you click on the option to do something with your horse there should be an option clean horses hooves. If not then you dont have to clean them!
Push B (trigger button) to swap to the pick. Use the joystick to move the hoof and point the remote to move the rock. Push A and move the remote around a little bit and the rock will fall out.
Click the "B" button to switch between tools and hold down "A" when you use them.
Click the b on the back of the remote and it will switch the tool just like in grooming
Just press the A button while on the dirt ball in the hoof. Use the nun chuck pointer to move different angles.
A1:

In order to breed the Black Pinto or Appy you gotta have a black father and one of the parents with the pattern. It may take a few steps (start with Dark grey and then breed that for a pure black) but you can do it like that.
On a side note I would HIGHLY recommend AGAINST the Black Appy horses. They are insanely hard to clean because the spots look like dirt and you can't tell what's coat and whats dirt.

You will have to wait until you get to your 3 star rating!
Until you renovate the guest house and have enough money and stars to.
Get your horse high skilled and a saddle maybe get some more horses to so you ride one they ride another
Once you are on to 2 stars and on your way to 3, you can upgrade the guest house up to 3 times, costing 1,000 credits each. Eventually you can upgrade it more when you are a higher star-rating.
Be sure to have enough saddles for all your horses, and jump them over logs and such when riding. *Don't* leave your horse in the pasture overnight- it won't attract guests and note that when doing timed courses(the competitions, whether you are just practicing or doing it for the first time) don't give you skill level. However, go to a course but don't actually press the + to do it- instead find the jumps on that course. Hope it helps.

A1:

It really doesnt matter it matters on the skill
A2:

In this game breed doesn't matter, like the other person said it's all about strength and skill level, the breeds are just apperance in the game, I prefer the andalusian horse on that game better, makes me feel like it's faster and better lol
A1:

You can only compete (and earn money) in an actual event one time, even if you go back with another horse. -Answer by:ShiftingLight
A2:

You have completed those competitions in that area. You have to buy another area (place for riding) in your 2nd star rating (im pretty sure 2nd star) And then you need to train your horse for those competitions! Hope I helped!
Ill will tell you the little target thing in the middle
There is a little white dot that circles around in the 'radar' area. It's exactly where the checkpoint is. Aim your horse there.
There should be a small map of the training area in the top left corner of your screen which will show where your horse is and where the next target to stop in is. The smaller the circle is on the map the closer that lane is too you.
A1:

To get star ratings you have to check your tasks by pressing the left key pad and clicking on each task will give you more information and actually tell you what you have to do, which will help you get money and ratings, hope this helped. :)
A2:

You have to win races, train foals, and eventually massaging horses and breeding horses (for clients) will get you money. The first two star ratings are gained by winning all of the races on the field and woods tracks. The third star is work, work, work!
A1:

I have done that too. I dont think that you can. They will just go one after the other. Really it only matters if you get the money from booking them in.
A2:

No beacus then it would be crowded in the barn with the constant saddling and unsaddling
A1:

Clean your horses.
Then your movement is too 'Up and down'. You gotta stay on a cross/grid system and be CLEAR with your motions.. Or they just don't get it.
Try to do it a little lighter hope I helped :) -Answer by:animal lover
Keep the remote completely level and give your foal a carrot or two before you start -Answer by:jordymacmom
If you don't know where the saddle rack is then go to your map, move to the stable and look for the saddle rack. then go there, take a saddle and bring it over to the horse you want to ride, click the A button then click 'saddle horse'.
you can also lead you horse and take it to the saddle rack, and just take a saddle it'll magically appear on the horse =p did that help?
you can also lead you horse and take it to the saddle rack, and just take a saddle it'll magically appear on the horse =p did that help?
Walk over to the saddle rack by the door line your self up and there should be a option there to pick up the saddle
Run over to the saddle rack, and pick a saddle, run to the pen (which horse you want 2 ride) then press A, and you will see "SADDLE HORSE" lit up.
A1:

When your horse is in it's stall and you have fed it, press "A" to feed it again then use the remote to choose the supplements in the menu that comes up. You have to buy them first from the shop
A1:

As far as I know, you cannot go upstairs in the house.
A2:

You can't sadly I tried to get up stairs but it didn't work
A1:

I read in the booklet that you cannot do anything except do what you previously did.
A1:

Part of earning star-rating 3 is buying the woods. Go to the gate to the woods(located over the bridge, by the foal enclosure). You must use credits to buy it it's not free like the fields. You must have completed star-rating 2 to buy it.
A1:

Taining foals can be really hard, so I kinda just blew that idea, to get into races you need to earn your horses trust, you can brush it with a soft brush and earn it, then after that there is a saddle right next to the door of the stable, put it on your horse then go riding in field next to your house, then you need to do lots of jumps to ear skill points, it will say when you are ready for a race, it you have trouble controling your horse, go to the page were you click story mode, go to options, then change it to joystick mode, that is all the advice I have, Good Luck! -Answer by:malpalz
A2:

Press the 'B' button the button on the bottom of the controller. But know this: You can only feed each foal 3 carrots. Stock up before to make sure you have enough for each foal.
A1:

You must renovate the riding hall before you can gain passage to the mountian gate. then you must buy the land.
A1:

It is easier to switch riding from "Gesture Riding" to "Control Stick Riding" if you haven't already. To do so, go to the page where you have the options of "Story Mode, Instant Mode, Options, and Credits", the page you get to once the game is loaded. Go to "Options" and click on "Gesture Riding". It will then switch to "Control Stick Riding".
To more the horse forward, press 'A' on the Wii remote. To slow down, press 'B' on the remote. To steer, use the control stick on the nun-chuck. It is a lot easier to steer the horse and super helpful for the races.
For a 'quick start', push the control stick forward and press A at the same time. For a 'quick stop', push the control stick towards you(backwards) and press B.

When your foal is a foal in the enclosure, you can choose to sell or keep your foal.
If you choose to keep it, you can train your foal daily by going to the foal enclosure located near the gate to the woods and the breeding stable. It is across the bridge. When your foal has grown into an adult horse, it will be taken out of the foal enclosure. The foal will either be located in an empty stall in your stable or in the paddock.

A1:

About four days with training
A1:

First, you need to build the bridge and Therapy Center.
When actually massaging the horses, you will see a small box with a picture of a horse. There are different main sections of the horse's body where you may or may not need to massage. The area will be red if you need to massage there. Use the control stick on the nunchuk to move to that area of body. Press down A on the main remote and move the remote back and forth. Then you will see arrows pointing in the direction that the tension lies. Go that way with the control stick. You will know that there is no more tension in that arena when the circle filled with yellow is all black. If the circle is filled with yellow, there is more tension. The less yellow(or no yellow) in the circle is better there is none or little tension.

A1:

You can take your own horse over to the therapy place and you can give your own horse a massage
A1:

It's probably still in the foal enclosure if you didn't get a message saying "your foal has grown up!" If you have, your remote probably shook a little and accidently sold it.
A1:

To train the foal, you need to stop in the checkpoints, the box things that appear on the grid where you appear to be lunging the foal. If you look at the radar up top, you can see where the next checkpoint is.
You want to get ready and get the foal to that lane. Hold the Wii remotes so that it is facing up towards the sky. Flick your wrists out so you would be holding the remote parallel to the ground, even a little facing down. This will make the foal move farther away from you.
Again, hold the remote as you started--facing the sky, a little bit tilting in the direction where it is parallel to the ground. Then flick the Remote towards you, pointing the end which would be facing the TV if you were holding it neutrally to you, like pointing at yourself with it.
I suggest only trotting the foal until you are close, otherwise it can be hard to slow down.
To slow down, flick the Remote to your right a few times. Do the same thing to your left to speed up the foal. Note: the foal cannot canter or gallop, only walk, trot, and halt.
Helpful tip: Only use carrots when you've missed a checkpoint. This is like an undo button so it won't count you missing that, therefore giving you more chances to succeed.
Foal training takes a LOT of practice. Trust me. Don't expect to master it in a looong time.
