I'm stuck on the level that involves laying bricks. I get half way across the first row, then everything brick I throw won't go in the right spot.?

Whats the trick to installing carpet? I cant seem to staple the carpet down in enough time, nor can I line up the stapler to the targets, what am I doing wrong?
