You take a 3 step lead on a righty, but a 4-5 step lead on a lefty, but hold back the left analog stick, so you do make I tback, and then when the catcher, umps, you run, but this wors 50% of the time

NO Team
A1:

You cant just go around and decide to hit home runs when you want, lower your standards to hit singles and then up to doubles then triples at the end you will be able to turn on a pitch easily and hit it deep.
A1:

When starting season or franchise mode turn force trades on and you can trade for whoever you want

Thunder (yankees)
The R1 button
Push the right analog stick up
You would see those rings to signal a homerun is possible you have to run over there and when the last ring disapers press r1 to jump you should catch it
A1:

You earn training points and use therm for throwing not feilding.feilding just helps you catch stuff.throwing will stop erors
A2:

Spend your training points on throwing arm and accuracy. then you wont keep overthrowing to 1st base
When the pitch is thrown, press x while lifting the left controller stick
It isnt the left. it is the right controller stick
It's all about timing, pulling the ball tends to work the best! -Answer by:laxrocket21
What I do is always press "x" when the pitch is thrown...if you're a right-handed batter press up and left on the right anolog stick....if you're left-handed batter....press up and right on the right anolog stick
You have to hit the square button instead of the x button
Square is to power swing. but first you have to turn the diffuculty higher than rookie
You Have To Hold The Left Analog Stick Down And Press X
To hit a home run, use square and look for pitches in the middle or upper strike zone. Works like a charm for me.
It's the RIGHT analog stick.. tilt it slightly up and pull and wait for fastball and time it right.. you can hit it out using contact.. Left analog is to aim your batting reach type thing, right analog is for aiming Fly ball or Groundball, pull or push..
Hook it up to your internet using a modem and and add a new device under online play and then play
Just hook it up to your cumputer duh. is it really that hard.
If you have a small playstation then get a ethernet cable at like radio shack or target they are about ten bucks then you hook it upo to your modem and plug it in your plastation and you should be good to go
You can ask your manger for a trade
Wait until your contract is up, then don't sign a new one until spring training. Then it will say you need a team to try out for and then pick one.
U either ask for a trade or wait until your contract is up ad refuse to sign (request rediculus amounts of money to resign). Eventulaly they will designate you for assignment and most likely another team will sign u
Yes all you have to do is hit them in season if your asking about simulating then probably not
Just push x
Yes if you hav a power hitter like a-rod or ryan howard.or just go 2 controller select and go 2 the other team the just run around & let your player score
It's all about timing. I tend to have the most success when I pull the ball. -Answer by:laxrocket21
If you play on rookie mode then just wait for a pitch in the middle of the zone or high. ive hit 198 hrs with Ryan howard doing that.
Yes you can just guess the right pitch everytime and time it perfect.mainly pull it
Be the opponent and pitch right down the pipe they will hit it out everytime
Yes it is possible advance your power an contact to 80+ and just sim season and have at least 1 homer a game
Get your first 4 stats up to 99 and its about timing ..i look for fast ball up. im in my third season with 43 hr and 60 games into the season so me hoping to get 100 hr will let you no soon
When you make a created player, spend most of your career on power points. When I did that, I got 250 home runs in 1 season.
You cant
1/4 something
Classic 1/6 -Answer by:laxrocket21
Under Options set Guess Pitch to "classic 1/6", then when you guess the pitch, if you choose the right one, it will tell you where the pitch is going
You go to options then game displays then set the ball marker to on
1/4 on rookie works
When you're up to bat pause the game and go to gameplay settings, and then go to player settings, and change the difficulty to rookie, then go to guess pitch, and change it to classic 1/4, then exit and go to options, then game displays pitching ball marker, and change it to on
For rookie it's classic 1/4
Go on pause in a game and get gameplay settings go on player settings and put guess pitch to either 1/4 of 1/6 then go back and hold r2 then a pitch that a pitcher throws
A1:

You need to do an exhibition game and then you can pick your uniform lineup pitcher and stadium.
A2:

you may select your team uniform at the controller select screen -Answer by:dragonrider3924
A1:

No only on ps3
A1:

Yes! ON the main menu go to features and select tips.
1/4 doesnt give you that little red dot feedback, it just makes a noise and the strikezone flashes red real quick to indicate that you guessed the right pitch.
Thats not true
You have it backwards 1/4 gives you a red dot and 1/6 just flashes
Well you dont create a good player, what you have to do is just keep doing your training things.A memory card would be helpfull. -Answer by:510BOI
Ok each position has certain attributes hat make them better. For example a first basemen is known for power and clutch hitting so attributes like power contact and clutch make him alot better in overall and in the situations hes put in. Guys like shortstops are known for speed and amazing defense although hitting is important attributes like speed and feilding increase your overall faster and make it easier to achieve the goals given. Pitchers are a little tougher but get alot more points per outing. Most people put a 4 seam as there main pitch but you can use any type of fastball. Just juice up you main pitch and try to keep your other pitches in check. So in closing juice up a few stats mainly the important ones for your position and then just gradually make the others better. This makes it easier to get points and will make you better faster
What I did was got a lot of points for my profile in franchise mode and then buy the super pitch speed and super pitch break rewards. Then make a starting pitcher in rtts. Make sure you go to your profile rewards and turn on the super speed and break. When you pitch in a game you should pitch fast with a lot of movement. Your fastball usually is 99 mph until you increase the speed. The highest speed it gets to is 102 mph.

In Franchise mode what should I buy first to save on money? Plus keep .fans and player happy
Question from: Gamerguy31(50)
A1:

I usually get two bank loans, from the two best banks, 80 million and 100 million, then I get a charter, and update all my facilities in the stadium so the players are happy, and I don't pay much attention to the fans happiness I let the computer deal with most of the financial aid.
A1:

Sweeping curve
A2:

Because you are only allowed to add 5 points to each
A1:
