On the main menu you go to features, then you go to roster control (or something like that), you chose what team you want to put the guy on in one of the sides and put the free agent list in the other. you select a guy on the team side and a replacement all-star on the other
Yes you just have to go to roster control then free agents put them on the team you want them on save it and go to season mode then it asks you what roster you want and pick your saved one
Yes just go to roster control, pick your team, and then go to player movement and go to the free agents and you will find old time players like babe ruth.
All you have to do is go to roster control and go to free agents. The old time players you unlocked can be put on your roster from there -Answer by:26Bigb98
Go to roster control and replace them with regular players. save it and then go to franchise or season and use save rosters then load it then chose the team you put them on
Yes if you hav a power hitter like a-rod or ryan howard.or just go 2 controller select and go 2 the other team the just run around & let your player score
Get your first 4 stats up to 99 and its about timing ..i look for fast ball up. im in my third season with 43 hr and 60 games into the season so me hoping to get 100 hr will let you no soon
When you're up to bat pause the game and go to gameplay settings, and then go to player settings, and change the difficulty to rookie, then go to guess pitch, and change it to classic 1/4, then exit and go to options, then game displays pitching ball marker, and change it to on
No, but usually there is a player on the giants team that IS barry bonds, but has a different name. (In '08 he is reggie stocker, might be the same in '09)
No because people ask the players if they want to be in the game barry bonds doesn't want to be in the game but reggie stocker is barry bonds in thegame.
I usually get two bank loans, from the two best banks, 80 million and 100 million, then I get a charter, and update all my facilities in the stadium so the players are happy, and I don't pay much attention to the fans happiness I let the computer deal with most of the financial aid.
It depends on their potential grade and performance.... always leave your top prospects in the minors for a few years they have better stats and improve quicker
U either ask for a trade or wait until your contract is up ad refuse to sign (request rediculus amounts of money to resign). Eventulaly they will designate you for assignment and most likely another team will sign u
Yes you have to sign at the end of a season or franchise or whatever mode your playing in. I usually sign them for a long time though so I dont have to do that a lot.
Set your sliders so that human players are better than CPU and set game to Rookie. I use a Pitcher, and was called up in 2 seasons. Now at 20 years and at Hall Of Fame Level.
You just pick a sp and give him allot of stanima and try to play the entire game (if the manger alows you) then before you play your first game go to exbition and pratice pitchs try to throw to fast balls to begin then a change will 9/10 throw him off
If you team is good like (throwin out a team) Brewers you have to be eather in 1st or 1st in the wild card and if there is a tie you go to a 1 game playoff... but then I go back to my point was your team good?
Your player's pitches are rated, "X" is your best pitch, "O" is second best, "Triangle" is third, "Square" is fourth, "R1" is fifth. -Answer by:goducksjordan0
1/4 doesnt give you that little red dot feedback, it just makes a noise and the strikezone flashes red real quick to indicate that you guessed the right pitch.
Go to franchise mode then choos the team that has your fav. minor league team then start and move the right analog stick right 1 time then go to schedule and the aaa schedule should be there
Um.... in RTTS mode, you will start in AA and then move (If your good, that is) to AAA. Make sure you choose your favorite team that has your AAA team that you like.
Well you dont create a good player, what you have to do is just keep doing your training things.A memory card would be helpfull. -Answer by:510BOI

Ok each position has certain attributes hat make them better. For example a first basemen is known for power and clutch hitting so attributes like power contact and clutch make him alot better in overall and in the situations hes put in. Guys like shortstops are known for speed and amazing defense although hitting is important attributes like speed and feilding increase your overall faster and make it easier to achieve the goals given. Pitchers are a little tougher but get alot more points per outing. Most people put a 4 seam as there main pitch but you can use any type of fastball. Just juice up you main pitch and try to keep your other pitches in check. So in closing juice up a few stats mainly the important ones for your position and then just gradually make the others better. This makes it easier to get points and will make you better faster
Move the velocity all the way down, and move the movement all the way up. It really helps alot. You can also do it with knuckleballs. I pitches a 27 K game! All the 3rd strikes were my insane 48 MPH knnuckleball, when my fastball was 94 MPH! You can also strike out the best hitters, like, Ken Griffey Jr, Aaron Boone, and last but not least Jimmy Kotsay!
The only way to do it is if your player is a closer, and he blows alot of saves that end up as wins. Or, in season mode, If you change some of the gamplay sliders and you simulate a shutout, the pither will lose almost no stamina, so you can start him two days straight or more. I got to 68 wins once doing that (I would have goten more but I didnt start doing that until the all star break) Only works while siming games. A 4 man rotation helps to

If you're winning... just bring in the pitcher you want to win when you're in the 4th inning with 2 outs. when he gets the next out, he should be the pitcher of record and get the win if you hold onto the lead.
You need to go to free agents and find him and sign him to your team. he may have also been picked up my another team which means you need to go into trades and search for what team he is on then trade for him. hope this helps
It does somewhat. It depends on if they have a good spring training. I hit 35 homers in spring training with Mark Texeieria and his power went up a bunch. I am at all all star break and have 192 home runs.
The 4 on the screen are what your goals are. You CAN ignore these if you really want to work on something else, but, if you ever want to make it to MLB status, you should achieve your goals.
It all depends on if there's someone else at your position on your team thats a better defender. Plus good power can also help with becoming a DH. My guy was a DH in his first full season because of his power.
When running around the bases you need to hold down L1 and hit the button that coresponse with the base you are running to ie (2nd-is triangle, 3rd- square, home-x)
