Halo Wars
It depends, really. I love the usual halos, and this one's good too. But I've got friends who think it sucks. My tip is to rent it or try it out at a friend's house if they've got it.

Yes, get it, ppl just dont have patints and strtagy to accly PLAY the game, skrmishes are all about patints and stratagy, and ppl today dont even have half of it

With it being out for a while. Its cheaper used at a game store. Some games stores like Gamestop offer a 7 day trail, if you don't like the game you can bring it back.
I myself love the game. I loved all the halo games. but maybe it depends on what type of gamer you are. Do you like to rush in and kill everyone. Do you like to create a character and play RPG games. Do you like strategy games. I am all three. I love RPG and Stragtegy games the best. SO halo wars is nice but you have to be smart to do it.

During the flood lvl I looked evry where 4 the black box but cant find it. wher exactly is it?

All you got to do is make 2 reacodrs then a vehicle depot then 5 wathogs then add guuner and go forwerd(DO NOT TURN AND IF YOU TURN YOU WON`T FIND IT!)then as you go forwered youl see some tree and when you see it go to the side the of side it is where you can`t go no farther keep on that side unitl you see some rocks in the way move your screen to where there is no more rocks and then move your wathogs down there and there is the black box

Black boxes don't do anything special, they just give you information about UNSC and the covenant.

U need to fully upgrade your marines and warthogs. send one squad of FULLY UPGRADED marines to the tower in front of your base. wait until the scarab attacks them, then send all of your forces to both sides of the scarabs beam. keep building and sending warthogs and don't forget to protect your base from locusts.

Okay so.... What you do is you build a crap load of warthogs and upgrade to gauss cannon... then at the same time fully upgrade your Cryo bomb, once you do cryo bomb the swarms taking most of them out and then you have to rush in kill the den BEFORE you kill the towers.

Debuff skulls are the ones that make the game harder. For example, the Fog Skull gets rid of your mini-map, Rebel Leader skull adds veterancy to enemies, and Sickness weakens your units.

Ok resorces you need to just wait for them to build up population just build units the higest possible is 60 but you have to be on a piticular 2vs2 map for that and be coventent and tech there is not limit level 4 is all that is needed for unsc and lvl 3 is all that is needed for covenent -Answer by:spondge

Air units are the best. upgrade hornets to hawks, make 8 of them. Make 2 vultures. send them to activate the interlocks. Leave the spartans and a few other squads of marines and wolverines to defend the base. if you're having trouble still, upgrade marines to ODST's and drop them at the inerlocks to help fight the flood and covenant off.

Adam is in the tower near your start position. just look for the conrol console that unlocke the train system. adam will run out
They are fun to collect and they get you achievements
Some are just for fun, some make it harder to win, some make it easier. You get an achievement for getting all skulls and just one, and one for winning a game will all the skulls that make it harder on. Plus, the skulls work on skirmish mode
Some can help you in the game but decrease your score or some will put you in a tough situiation but increase your score

You can on mission 13 there is a scarab that will be left aside get it with the spartan

Yes, you can by selecting a spartin and then look at a scarab and pushing y and he/she will start to hijack!
In level 13 you simpley hijack the scrub but you cant hijack any that are ctroled be the covint
On on mission 13 you need to build a base make 2 reactors then you need to build a hornet and send it next to the scarab then pellican drop one spartan over to it kill the flood around the scarab then take controle I suggest anti-air turrents on this mission because vampires and banshees will be constantly assaulting your bases -Answer by:spondge

Just buy a supply pad then and upgrade it to a heavy supply pad and you should have 300 supplies in no time!

If you didn't place the first rhino place cause you can only have one at a time place it then buy another rhino and place that one if you dont have enough resources collect crates (blue cubes stacked) until you have enough sources

How do you beat mission 07-scarab(where you fight the super scarab)?

With mine there was a glitch so get in the tower in the middle of the field with a marine and it didn't kill them try it out
Its easy. use hogs and infantry to take down the nodes, and whenever possible use MAC rounds to shoot the scarab. Once you've taken the nodes down make a fleet of scorpions, cobras, and fully loaded warthogs. Move near it on the side away from where its pointing, lock the cobras down, and FIRE!
Build lots of tanks duh or whatever you want just don't build anything from barracks
Shoot the scarab with the tanks and let the infantry take out all the grunts and any other things that gets in the way
Build men from the barracks they dont die easly
Destoy all the nodes then get people that can revive
I used the mac gun the whole way through (but be careful the scarab can break through the ruins and the Mac gun does little damage
When it shines the light to the right get a warthog and go to the left and hide behind the ruines along the way do this repetedly with a scorpion and remember to continuestly use mac blast. -Answer by:jordanv6
I built as usual as high as I could soon the scarab will start destroying the blocks between it and your base that is the time to do a full out attack on it wait behind the wall till then
