I wish to install empire totalwar, but I have lost the serial number for the game so I cannot install it. is there a way of knowing the serial number from the barcode on the game?
How do I build religious facilities. There are no options in the construction menu's?
I've only just started the game, so I'm still learning. But I just got past the part where it said something about the research buildings (colleges, etc.). However, right as that came up, I had clicked on another part of the map, and that went away. When I try to click on anything to build research buildings, nothing pops up. Is it still too early in the game to build these, or am I missing something?
I used this method and gained over one million pounds and ALL regions in all theaters.
Build your country, invest in farms, towns, mines, etc. Don't forget to develop your country with science. There are plenty of inventions which will result a higher yield of money each turn (allowing better buildings, or giving the old buildings better results).
As last, trade! trade! trade! Search a nice big country (hello persia or Indian countries for example), who's far away and develop friendly relations with it. Trade with it and during the mid-game (around 50 turns) you can easily gain 2000 coins by trading with it (that's the upkeep of 6 line units, if I remember it right).
And last, but surely not least.. build a trade fleet and send it to africa, south america and indonesia. Send a couple of guard ships with it and chase your enemy's, pirates and such from the spots which you can make money on. Very, very, very lucrative, but too much of a hassle to develop early on imo.
How to decide which rebellion makes it? Well it depends on your current government.
Let's use France as an example: France starts out as an absolute monarchy. Thus, if you cause rebellion with the Higher class, the result will be another absolute monarchy. If you cause a revolt with the lower class, then you will receive a republic. Well what about the constitutional monarchy?! That can only be gained by republics, which must then have a rebellion of the higher classes to form a government with both the people and a monarch... Makes sense right? If you're confused I'll make a table at the bottom. So, if you start with a nation like France, an Absolute Monarchy, you must first make it rebel into a republic and THEN into a constitutional monarchy..
Should you start with a republic, like the UP, or the USA, just have a revolt with the higher class. Tiring, but well worth it in my opinion...
ALSO! This is important, the revolt MUST take place in your capital, shown by the little building icon next to the city. otherwise it will just be revolt, not revolution! For further reference on revolution, there is another topic here somewhere... Don't want to stray too far off topic here...
((AB is absolute monarchy, CM is constitutional monarchy, and RE is republic))
AB --> Higher class revolt --> AB
AB --> Lower Class Revolt --> RE
RE --> Higher class revolt --> CM
RE --> Lower class revolt --> RE
CM --> Higher class revolt --> AM
CM --> Lower class revolt --> RE
I really hoped this helped! Please vote up if you found it helpful! ^^
