I also faced the same problem
the ball stops for a second in the opposite side
i think the oppositions are using some cheats or some tricks.

When playing online match, it seems that the ball stops in the opposite end for at least a second, waiting for the opponent run to it and hit , is it normal? it is very unfair. Has it got anything to do with the internet speed?
I have also run into this problem. It is beyond ridiculous how every single player I play online has this cheat. I will never win a single match and achieve all the medals because of this. The ball literally stops in the middle of the air for the opposition to smash it for a winner. Is this a possible glitch in the game or do we have a bunch or cheaters on our hands?
It is the internet speed. you must have very good internet access to play at a normal rate or else you will get the balls stoping in mid-flight for both players.
If you mean in World Tour mode, then I think that you must win (or at least get to the final) the Challenger Race Fina, where the 8th best placed amateur players compete.
You have to get into the final and win it
You have to play in #1 amateur ranking until you are invited to play pro.

Its because you're still an Amateur, when you get to the Pro level the competition gets tougher and when you qualify for a championship, you'll play 5 games a set. -Answer by:Omicove
^You sure?
I played the French open just a minute ago and I only needed to win 2.
I'm ranked 18th.

You only ever need to win two games
1:The further you go in the game, try winning Sponsors Tournaments & you may unlock a fancy clothing. 2:Play the practice games like Pirate wars or the Shopping Run & if you do well, fancy clothing can be unlocked e.g. Pirate boots. -Answer by:Omicove
You will unlock them and there will be a fancy dress logo next to the clothing!
Get enough money and go to the shop. also depends how far you advanced you are in the game. Fez outfit becomes avaible quite soon.
Win your sponsorship matches and complete as many minigames as you can!

When online and in a rally. I could be winning the rally (i.e. Have them running all over the place to play their shots) and they come up with a winner that makes me stumble and return poorly then lose the point. I have All round + unlocked so it isnt my stats. How do they do this?
Question from: PotlessPete1975(2)
A1:

The best style to use is Tactical+, believe me, its way better than All Round+. -Answer by:Omicove
A1:

No
A1:

Just continue to attend tournament and you'll eventually get asked by someone to play a practice match. If you play that match and wins (which shouldn't be too hard), the player will appear on your friend list. Then you can play practice matches.
A1:

Those are by invitation only, you have to play the world tour from amateur to pro ranking

A1:

Get into position and hold the slice button as well as the down button...ur player will drop shot only if he is in position on time
A1:

U just press the lob button and the down button at the same time only for a second .....
A2:

Easier if once the underarm animation start, hold up instead.
A1:

Tap down and triangle.
A1:

Go to training academy and select strategy from menu on left of screen.
A2:

In the shop you can buy a makeover for 5k. buy this and then you can change your styles
A1:

Best way is from bottom right. Use a slice serve by pressing circle. Hold left momentarily to hit top left corner of opponents court. If timed correctly the ball should spin left out of his reach.
A1:

Play a slice with backwards drection on it (backspin), you have to press the shot a while before you hit it so that enough spin can be generated. it works for the training session, but drop shots in the game arent very good, dont really work properly!
A1:

If you follow the above instructions, you could get Pirate boots, Golf caddie trousers, Clown shoes, Huge nerd goggles and even that goggle that is the symbol of the Charity cup. -Answer by:Omicove
A2:

Try going to your Home after every tournament and when you proceed it'll save automatically. If it doesnt, then there is something wrong with your settings or console. -Answer by:Omicove
