All you need to do is press L1 to aim, wait til you close in a bit and the cursor is red then shoot.
Hold down L1 then aim at the yankee and soon your sight will turn better then as soon as the crosshairs change red BAM!
He will come closer if you wait long enough he is over at the two trees in the back ground

Aim up at the trees. the cannon ball has a big arc when shot
When you see the swarm in the distance start firing above them as that will wipe some of them out. most importantly, when they get closer try to stop them from getting to the far left. because its a cannon you need to aim above your target

They're hard to see, but look for the rafts crossing the river and aim slightly above them to hit them
I am also stuck on this level,and have tried every single way of doing this, and failed.Can anyone help, please?
Just shoot the soldiers on the field. In the beginning aim much higher and shoot a whole sqaurdron. If any soldiers come near you shoot them as well.
When you shoot the cannon aim higher don't put the aim thing right on boats cause it doesn't shot straight aim on top of the boat and you'll be able to see if the cannon hits the boats cause all the guys on the boats fly out haha
Just remeber that the cannon balls don't go straight they fall down so shoot a bit above the boats.

At the bottom of the cross-heir aim the line going vertically down at the boats then fire it should blow up the boat because cannons don't work the same as a gun! gravity has a big effect on cannons k -Answer by:flamesord66
Aim high above the rafts as the cannon ball drops try out different heights until you hit the rafts
You have to aim over them,you will see when it hits the water
On the ridge is a cannon- aim high and sink the rafts before they land

With the right thumbstick move it towards the gun (should be left) but not too close (closer than when he starts moving his fingers) or it will cause you to have a delay if the bell rings during that time, but still keep it pretty close. when the bell rings move the thumbtick all the way to the left causing him to draw his gun and shoot when the reticule turns red.

Use the cannon and aim just above the boats to hit them, when shooting the big boat aim for the gold star.

as the star points to the Cannon there are a few seconds before the rafts begin to deploy, you need to range the cannon to give the rafts enough lead. Using the High rock on the L.H as an aiming marker in relation to your graticule pattern use the bottom cross hair to ensure you get enough elevation to hit the rafts. Point to note Graticule does not illuminate when on target. Hope this helps
