Fight Night Round 4
A1:

Go to boxer gallery and select your created boxer. go to edit and scroll over to your boxers ratings. you should be able to upgrade his attributes there.
A2:

That answer is rubbish. It only lets you up your boxer's stats to 87. If you then try to fight another legendary fighter (on G.O.A.T. mode), you'll get whooped. For some reason, your 96 fighter (most fighters are between 94-96 upon retiring) will never be a 94-96 in Fight Now mode.
When he stunned do ultra rapid punches its better when using muhhamad ali
Well you can go on the defensive and catch your opponnent with a counter punch. If your boxers punch power is high it usually knocks them down.
Hold down the haymaker modifier and push A for a signature punch
What you should do to likely get a knock out punch on this game is do a counter after the opponent has tried to give you a uppercut. -Answer by:Toms167
Sometimes its random but a real good majority of your knock out punches are made when you prarie a punch, either a Jab or a Uppercut will do it. That's the way I do it a lot.

When in Legacy Central (Legacy Mode main screen), press the button for Legacy Menu, go down to My Corner and go to Retire Current Boxer. Which basically means you cant play the boxer anymore in legacy mode but you get the achievments.

You should just retire or be smart and listen 2 my cheat 4 full swelling at the main menu put in x x x y y y bb rt rt rb rb b lt lb lt lb up down left right up down left right and it should work
Retire
The more punches you take throughout your career the more your swelling will decrease, yeah unless you can fight without your opponent punching you much you should just retire your guy. through your career it slowly lowers.
Because that's more realistic. \
Because its online play, you cant see if your beating them badly or not, you just have to feel it and tell, they dont want one person to be able to see an advantage
If you are having issues winning turn down the difficulty and CPU stats in the settings and turn yours up... If you want better stats you have to set up a fight then train before it, it takes a while to raise your overall rating but at 80 you should be able to beat anyone on pro.
It really doesnt matter I beat tommy morrison who was a 90 overall and I was a 78 overall. All you have to do is last in match and some where around the 8 or 9 th round they get tired. If you dont knock your opponent out you can win by winning rounds
If you do some training before the fight you will have higher ranks than him. -Answer by:Toms167
Create what looks most like him or get a picture and do the that picture thing you know what im sayin don't ya?and do grey or black what ever kind off hair he had OK OK OKs god LUCK.......NOT! or do I wish you good luck
For the name it is floyd mayweather jr nickname pretty boy he is a welterweight he is 5'8 inches and 146 pounds. -Answer by:air eric
I think you should be able to find his fight night round 4 stats on the internet, then create him in "create a fighter" and use the upload photo option to put his face on.
Hit the left stick(LS) twice as fast to get back up
A1:

You have to retire to get the achievements.
A2:

Retire, then you get the achievement, then avoid saving, then you continue to play on your legacy with the GOAT. :-)

How do I get Floyd Maywether JR in Fight Night Round Four?
Question from: air eric(12)
A1:

Counter punching, body, body, head. lower your opponents stamina with body punches, then go to the head. this will cause more damage because stamina is lower.
I like to concentrate on one side of the face the whole fight. usually this wins via TKO or KO.

Keep hitting him with the jabs n straights
Depends how long you've been fighting, If you get knocked down the 2nd time in the 2nd round its easier just do it like you did the first... getting knocked down on the 8th round is a litter harder to get up makes sense right.. Ive been knocked down 5 times n got back up... Some times you may need to hold both sticks to the right positions but its all out balance, best way to learn trial and error.
First thing first it's only online.
secondly it is a pain.
the only thing I can suggest is make sure you don't get knocked down in quick succession as it will be much harder to get up.
and also make sure you've done a lot of damage to the other player.
i got this by a technical knockout win due to stoppage by working one side of the opponents face throughout the fight,
got knocked down early then knocked down a few rounds later.
after the opponent used all his points on health and stamina his damage was way high and the win was only a few hooks and straights away,
cheap tactic but this achievement is a pain to get.

If it's early in the fight it is easier but you won't be able to get up fully before the count of five. go slow when the ref starts counting and center yourself. by the time he gets to 5 or 6 you should be able to get up if it's not later in the fight like round 8 or 9. works for the 3rd time as well but it's closer to the count of 8 or 9. i've only been able to get up after 4 knockdowns once, but honestly I don't try to get knocked down that often. good luck.
The key to getting up is working out the middle bit dont try to get up quick move your stick slowly and you should get up easy but the more your knocked down the later u'll get up but keep your cool, be focused. iv been knocked down 7 times online and still won so it can be done!
You Have To Hold Down RB, Then Throw A Uppercut, or a Hook.

Try not to "hackmaker" ok good luck
Answer one sums up the first part and when he grabs you its called clinching... The opponent does it when hes stunned so you dont knock him out... You can press X to try to push him away but it doesnt always work and you do not need to use a haymaker to knock them out. Try a strong uppercut or hook to the face it should work if he has low health. Keep in mind while hes stunned you have unlimited stamina so just wail on him for a few seconds and he should go down.
Sadly they do not have the option in this version of the game. I was upset to find this out as well, since that is how I play too.
Under My Corner>Settings use the RT to the 4th screen and you can change the configuration of how you punch, block, everything. There are 4 configurations if memory serves correctly.
Foot work, my friend, the key is foot work, move fast and hit to the body and those guys will fall down
I have the same problem and footwork doesnt do enuff dey stay right in your grill you cant avoid it, der must b a better ansa cuz I saw a guy avoid me an entire match till I got fedup
My brother does the same thing to me
I just try to tire him out buy blocking and weaving
eventually he tries a haymaker when I dodge then I keep hitting him dude -Answer by:parismac8

Use the Jab as much as possible perhaps
Use the jab it is a distance maker!
Its not that they are faster then you I can tell you are a panic fighter your fine when your doing all the banging but when your being banded you panic and start swing crazy.. so heres what you do step back let them swing and learn how to bop and weave and counter the crap out of them that the only way to slow them down
I used to think the same thing. they continually punch and at a high rate usually when they are close and are going to the body and occasionally to the head. if your opponent is making contact, clean punches and they are close their stamina despite how many punches are thrown barely dips while yours drains and you can't hardly move. become an infighter and stay close to your opponent.
if that's not working for you practice the jabs and straights and save the hooks and uppercuts for when they throw the big punch and miss. practice throwing multiple punches instead of just 1 or 2 or 3. go for the 4-5-6-7 punch combos, back up, regenerate your stamina and repeat. i've worn down many a boxer that way.

Move your finger faster or maybe its your xbox buy a new one
The newest patch eliminated this cheat...it no longer works.
Worked for me.... You have to win the beginning trouny in legacy. When the fight is ove rand at the judges score cards it will say that you have been awarded with some stats and clothing. Press A to go to the punch totals and then B again to go back to the scorecards. You will be awarded with the stats again. Repeat this process until you are only receiving clothing... You should have max power in your right and left hand heart and stamina.
You did it wrong...if that's possible. You just hit A after you get awarded your points, then B when you see the next screen. Just repeat it, eventually you'll see the +5 turn to +3 then it doesn't appear anymore because you are at 100! WORKS!
Delete the 1.03 version patch then do the max stats cheat. It works. If you want to play online you have to download the patch again then it won't work while the patch is there. You can also adjust the sliders in the settings menu to benefit you on the training like upping the speed for double end bag or upping the power for heavy bag push etc. Always go to training mode day after everything simulates and back out then go and save so if you don't get champion you can do it over. This way max cheat or not your fighter can have great stats and make sure you schedule for 3 trainings. It's usually about 6mo or about 180days and up.
Set rounds to one and the time per round to 1 minute.
Keep the jab up through the round and you'll win by decision
Keep the jab up through the round and you'll win by decision
That first answer is basically cheating and you still may lose. this is what need to be done.. you need to keep Tyson on the outside with jabs and strraights.. he will still bob and weave to the to get in the inside but thats when you step back and hit him with hooks and counters
Make sure that your created boxer has a great chin and also make sure that he has close to full stats on right and left hand power.
Mike Tyson is an aggressive boxer who likes to be on the inside, so he's pretty easy according to Fight Night 4 mechanics. You have to make him throw to your face by moving into him with your block set on your body, and immediately double tap back or slip back. Mike Tyson will then swing high, and you'll WEAVE IN and hit the body for the most part. Do this repeatedly (you probably need practice) and on occasion work the face. He should be down by the 6th or 7th round. If he gets to close, and he will, just slip away to safe distance and get him back to the center of the ring.
One way is not to be as aggressive as tyson but be defensive. keep a good distance, bob and weave and whenever he throws the big punch immediately go with hooks to the body and drain his stamina. he's got a good chin so don't waste your energy on big punches to the head. as in real life he tires quickly and work him that way. if you can get good at slipping his punches, counter him with jabs and straights and if you get to stun him-attack, attack, attack.
Be aggressive as well. Throw multiple combinations of straights and jabs. Make sure however, that your stamina is high. Tyson is an infighter so go for his right eye.
I beat tyson in the third with the first created fighter I made and it was only my 5th fight, I stood toe to toe with him even though I had longer arms wich weakens my hooks and close range things, I had 100 on right and left hand power and 100 for strong chin, alot of the time tyson weaves all the way around so when hes to close use your "flashy move" mine was a duck to a lead uppercut, wich is perfect for when hes weaved in close (make sure you press a before hes in close, it should be easy to notice when hes coming in)
He's actually one of the easiest to beat once you get some skill. Don't let you stamina go down by throwing wasteful hooks and uppercuts unless you're connecting. Just circle the ring and pump jabs and straights at him and go to the body. Throw 1, 1-2, 1-2-3 combos to the head and body. Early you're not going to throw big combos. The combos will be easier to land as his stamina breaks down. I beat him on GOAT with no problem with any boxer even a middleweight boxer!
If console get up sit back down play again if does not work try again I believe in you......NOT! or do I?
Yea it takes a bit of skill, but just make your character fall over to the right then make him fall over to the left, and then try to guide the character up! If you try to do it str8 away he'll just keep falling over! Thats how I do it anyway, ive goten up 5 times with roy jones and beat a helpless tyson (online).... It was epic )

Use LS to get the green in the center then hold RS up
No. When you fall over you're doing it wrong. 1st you move the stick to get it to the middle and it has to reach there before the count of 7 then you push it straight up. When it's after the 1st knock down you do the same thing but after you get it to the middle you leave the stick alone for a sec and it should drift 1 notch either right or left and you just give it a nudge to get it back in the center then you start pushing up by the 7 count and it's going to drift again and you give it a slight nudge left or right while holding the right stick up. You want to get up by the 8 count but if you've been knocked down numerous times it might end up being a 9 count using this technique. Doing the chicken dance is not the way to get up in a real fight. You have to get up slowly when you've been knock down harshly or more than once.
