Just use your L1 button to aim where to jump before you hit the X X to perform your double jump.
You have to double jump then when he is hanging you jump .
Press the x butten twise to jump twise.

Hey I know i'm wondering the same thing, I can't get out of the cave...its annoying xD

I went around in circles a few times myself, but you have to keep your eyes open...after you jump off the third leaf that you water there is a refill hole for your "shooter". Right on the wall next to it there are some wilted leaves that you will have to water in order to climb WAY up the wall. You don't notice them at first because you just think they are regular leaves for the vine on the wall, but just shoot....the leaves will open up and then up you go.

Use whip to kill outlying plants then use Lychee fruit launcher to hit plant seed pod openings. Then, keep hitting with lychee (re-fill with pumpkin) until it wilts and use y button to lasso the leafs. Once all 4 are gone, climb up inside on the fifth one.

Ok to the right there is some goey stuff go by it and press y a lot of times. until you have enough. your gonna shoot at that thing on the top and the two things on the side. that is where the gas is coming from. hope this was helpfull.

You have to jump ledge to ledge and all that to get to the top... where there you will have to destroy the plants before you can go on...

You shoot the flowers on the rock and the rock drops down on Rudy and takes life away... then when it does that it opens a new area for you to go to and do the same thing again. if you run out of bullets for the last weapon that you get you have to swing back and pick more mushrooms up...
