Im on level 8 and I cant get past the part where you shoot the dinosaurs that are trying to wake the baby t-rex's I dont get how to get the babies to go back to sleep can someone help please?

I am on the second level. I can't seem to get past Rudy the dinosaur. It says to stomp his snout, throw rotten fruit grenades into his mouth, get a tooth, but I can't seem to do any of them. I really need help with this one. It's getting boring trying and not getting anywhere!?
