Are you kidding me, no! The graphics and maps are amazing, you have no shield like in real life (hence Halos shield). Also, everything is so realistic. If you think Modern Warfare 2 is over rated, there is something wrong with you.

COD is the biggest let down. Modern warfare 2 hasn't really got anything new to the gameplay as the older world war 2 era COD games. In COD you spend the entire game running around looking at the end of your gun shooting your way through waves of enemy troops to reach an objective, which has an arrow and distance pointing it all out for you. Anybody with half a brain should realise that this is not realistic at all. SOCOM US navy seals which came out years ago on playstation allows you to choose your own camera view, command your entire seal time and interact with almost everything in each level. In COD you are simply following a strictly dictated story line in which you perform tasks in a certain manner to reach the next level.. If COD made amends to these issues in future games they would be by far the best games out.

Yh they are!my mum got me it anyway,im 12 and im a girl,i did the levels,even the terrist 1,i completed the game really quickly and easily,i didnt get offended by the game or graphicslol

Are you serous whoever said the thing about socom being more realistic because you can change camera angles is a retard in real ife can you change camera angles? can you see inthird person in real life? Also name a game where you dont have to do specific things to reach next level/next round/next mission. Anyways call of duty is a multiplayer game no one cares about the story it is the best online multiplayer series I have ever played. I could play the same map 10000 times and not get bored of it because the other people will be in different spots with different skill levels and different guns with differnt perks to go with different strategies. with around 250 000 different people online playing different game types. find a better online multiplayer game and come talk to me because socom is not it. I bought the online-only socom game not even 1/100th as good as any online call of duty match I traded it in for a $10 discount on NHL10 within two weeks.

Yes, to a degree. Graphics are good but very linear for singleplayer. The maps are too small (Scrap) and no flyable/driveable vehicles. No real incentive for teamwork. The BEST multi so far has been Battlefield 2, but its outdated now.
