It should be under opions and then scroll to redeam codes and enter it there
You need to get to your career then go to main menu and you will find enter code in options
What is "special edition"? Do you mean special edition of the game? What does this get you?

You need to have the car full upgraded. Go to "My garage" , Select your car, and press upgrade. Once you have it upgraded, don't go anywhere. It says "Buy Works" at lower-right of the game screen. It is costly upgrade, but also worth it. Press "Back" in your 360 controller to buy it. Hope that helped.

You have to max the whole car (EVERYTHING) out then it will have a works button like L1 or something !
Press the back button when you have bought all of the upgrades for that car. if that dos'nt work then its not a works car
If when you buy a car it has a W next to it you can upgrade to works, you upgrade your car as normal you have to put all the up grades on then press select. when you upgrade to works it takes away your nos
You have to buy ALL upgrades then press the select or back button to buy works. it is either 250k or 350k depending on tier of car
Buy all upgrades available for the car. But be sure that it has the W icon next to the car in the car lot menu before you buy it. When you begin to upgrade there will be a meter on the bottom right of the upgrades screen which will show your progress.
Buy everything you can and it should be highlighted
Only certain cars can be Works upgraded. Not all of them have the capability. But if the car you are upgrading can be Works upgraded then when you are on the upgrading screen, it should show your progress of upgrading in the bottom right hand corner. Once you have bought all the upgrades for the car then you have the choice to press the back(select) button to perform a works convert. Once you do that you wont be able to upgrade anything else for that car and it will have a much better car rating.
You have to first buy a car that has a W on the right side. Then, buy every god damn upgrade you can, and then at the bottom. It will say "Convert to works?" it the back bottom, and hit yes. This cost maybe 700'000, but it's worth it
You have to install ALL upgrades to the car, only then you can buy works conversion. Be sure that the car you want to convert to works has the W symbol, because only these cars are able to be fully upgraded.
It is very easy to go far in Career and only have level 20, so they would've unlocked teir 4.
Play the actual game the unlock and buy them
Dude all you do is get enough stars and $600000 - $1200000 and you can get any car not that freaking hard to do
At the top when you are looking at the races in career mode at the top of the screen it tells you how many stars you need to unlock the next tier when you have unlocked tier 4 go on to multie player or quick race and go to stock cars there you can go any car even if you don't have it. Plus if you want a car from a tier you haven't unlocked you can get it for quick race and multie player by using Microsoft points.

You can buy any cars using Microsoft points (credits) as you would for any downloadable content.

I'm level 19 and I have the Zonda car. All you have to do is get alot of money and earn the stars in the lower tiers because they are easier.
Online you can get a loaner car or you can unlock and buy tier 4 cars (including the Zonda)by earning stars and moving up car levels. This is pretty simple because races you win on tier 4 are worth no more than the stars you win from tier 1
I beat it using the Pagani Zonda R, but I think that you can also beat the NFS Championship using a Corvette fully upgraded. Also, try to configure the gearbox: set the 1st gear for max acceleration and leave the 6th gear in the middle or set it for more acceleration then speed for me, it worked nicely.
The Pagani Zonda R is the best to win it's got great speed,acceleration,handling & braking.
No use the lamborgini murcielago with the works mod its the best rated and has the best acceleration not to mention its top speed is all the way up to I never lose.
No matter if its a Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Zonda R, Lamborghini or a Corvette, every one of these will win the NFS Championship.
I always find it useful to spin out the racer that is leading the pack because they have the most high powered car to get to the front. Spin him out on to the sand. That gives you enough time to get ahead to hopefully win

That is not what I mean. In some games you are able to download new cars that are not in the normal game that is purchased at the store. These cars are ONLY downloadable from XBOX LIve. I am asking if Shift has such cars if I go to XBOX live?

Lambo mercillago works converted should get you round fastest
The lambo merc is a fast car but i've found that my works Z06 ended up working best for me. it mat not be as quick but it accelerated better than my works lambo and cornered better. but yes the lambo is fast but in return harder to manuver.
The lambo is the fastest but the corvette has more manuverability... you culd also work a dodge viper and it does drift as well
Skyline gtr 34 tuned right it will wipe the floor with anythin, or even the gtr r35
I did both the viper and the murcielago I personally would reccomend the viper becuz the handling braking accelaration and speed is better than the lambo's
The Z06 is by FAR the fastest for me. I KILL Murcie's even converted to works on the track.
The Lamborghini is the best car at speed and acceleration but what I have found out by other people I have talked to the vette is the better car. I personally like the lambo that works but the Bugatti Veyron will beat the Lamborghini murcillago every time even tho you can't upgrade it to Works.

Try Skyline GTR, when works converted, top 515 km/h 0-100 kmh in 1.8 secs its even faster then bugatti

Im not sure about all the other cars but I know the fastes bmw on teir 2 is faster than that car even when the nissan is the works edition

The Skyline Gtr (r34) with works is the fastest car on there until you get the vette with works but my skyline keeps up with a vette no problem I had my skyline maxing out at 175 which is very fast for a tier 2 car and I hardly had to brake in the turns so therefore I increased momentum while everyone else was slowing down to get through I was already gone!
Gtr owns, corvette is just better in corners. Gtr is better for every tier, once you got it on works it goes 0-60 in 1.8 seconds and maxes about 320mph.. BMW goes 0-60 works converted just above 2 secs same for murci
Bugatti veron is fastest car tunn it
Lambo lp640 is the fastest car. you have to tune it as much as you can then works convert it. costs a lot but worth it!
One of the fastest cars I have seen which smoked the buggatti and the lambo is the nissan gtr spec v fully tuned it gets to 100 in 2.07 seconds thats fast but the porshe concept study fully tuned is a beast too
Go on quick race and keep going on drift or time attack and keep drifting then it will add on loadss of pointss so then you can level up quite fast

20 laps at Nordschleife, once got 100k+ with it.
Go to quick race and pick the longest track, most laps, most opponites, dont worry about winning till the end. for the first 19 laps just hit every car you see till you get in lead then stop and let them go by and keep doing this. can usually stop about 3 to 4 times in lap but in the end you can get as much as 200,000 points easy and get to level 50 in about 3 to 4 races. it dose not go any higher then 50 just points and money are added.

I'm searching for the exact same thing. My son has $4M dollars saved up on the game trying to get to Tier 3 cars and now its stuck on career mode and we can only do the qualify race as our garage slots are all filled and cannot get to our cars that we built.

You cant, only tier 1 can unlock all. This doesn't have any effect on your speed/works progress.
You Have to hold the B button Down and you will see the Nitrous tank go down kinda fast.

Its work when you hold B, but you don't see fire out of the exhaust like all the other need for speeds

In this need for speed, nitrous is actually realistic! it doesnt shoot you off like a rocket like the underground series did.

You will need to install NOS into your car, use B to use NOS it's not like other NFS's where a flame comes out your car while using NOS, the little bottle at the bottem right hand corner should then empty :) hope I helped.
Answer 1 is right you buy it in upgrades > Aerodynamics and you can buy stage 2 and 3.Stage 2 is ten seconds and stage 3 is 20 seconds.Once it empties it never refills.

The NFS Shift money cheat is: 1.) go to Instant Race 2.) Choose 20 laps 3.) Choose Myatomi Oval Race Course (0.24mi) Every time you race it you will level up and score around 8k to 10k points. Make sure you are in a very fast car or the best one you can afford. I used a Works converted car to slaughter the competition. Hope this helps. Steve W.

Yes, there is one cheat code on NFS shift. The cheat code is a coke 0 dodge viper. Heres the code:ETPS-LXMZ-FZ7M-8Z7A. It can only be unlocked if you are connected to EA Nation, and it can only be used in Quick Race or on-line race's.

I think the best japanese car is the nissan z370(it was excellent to me)the bmw m3 e46 and rge viper rst 10
I used the nissan s15 silvia 240sx, bmw m3, and I dnt remember what car I used for the american drift series. I just remember trying a couple fast cars like the viper and found it to be to fast for the drift tracks so I eventually went to a slower car.

I had that problem when I tuned my car (Viper) to have very high tire pressure. Try going to the tuning section and reset to defaults.

I don't believe anyone is reading the question. ONLY the Corvette ZO6 is doing this. When you are on the "Car Battle" in Tier 3, "CORVETTE ZO6 vs. 911 GT3 RS" the Vette just sits there revving all day but WILL NOT MOVE. anyone know if this is a big, how to fix it, or what is actually going on with it? thanks.

It's the car.Even if you set the tunning for acceleration it still wont pull.

I had this on one of mine, had to ghange gears manualy...
Definitely a glitch... one of many on this damn game. Apaprently there a patch you can download for the PS3 to fix this. I havnt tried it yet though........
All you have to do is already have your car in 1st gear and rev it up........Make sure that you have low to medium tire pressure!
