Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010
You can kill one leopard. And hide behind rock, the leopards rarely attack you on that.
Well I dont have the answer but im stuck on the same one as well, ive just been using the shotgun with 6 bullets in it and ive killed one then I just get maimed by the other two
Use the Pistol and shoot from the sitting position. this buys you some time to complete the kill
I find the most effective way is to use the shotgun. If he attacks, fight him off and keep shooting.
Just hind behind the big rock on your left. The leopards wont attack you on this, they just stand on top of it. It gives you plenty of time to kill one.
After crossing logs crouch down they can't get you and use the shotgun got silver medal
Go behind the big rock on your left with the shotgun and start shooting they wont attack you! I just did it and got Gold Medal
Go to the lion aka beast , then the lion will kill them witch will buy some time to hide and wait with shotgun then kill the beast
As soon as you go across the log move to your left and hide behind the rock they will try to attack but stay on the rock this will let you kill one while keeping them off of you. Got the Gold this way!
We killed one with the shotgun and didnt have to do the rest I think you just have to kill one but I dont know. we got a silver medal just by killing one. rember you have to use b,a,c and z to defend from animals like the moutian lion the puma and the beaes. well we r through with the game. it took us from christmas to well the 29th
I just got gold on it. I ran around trying to find a hiding spot. Was about one hit from being dead, and ended up way right of where you come across the log. Realized that the leopards weren't chasing me. They somehow were running in place behind a tree. Pretty easy to pick them off with the crossbow from there. I missed quite a bit, but still managed gold.

There will be some rocks at the side of the area. head there, and you will find the puma.
The puma is in mission 10. When you first see him he is dining on a dead deer. You can either use a rifle and scope at first to wound him from a distance but switch to shotgun quickly because he'll come after you next. Or you can just stay with shotgun from the beginning and wait till he notices you and attacks. The shotgun is the best weapon for animals that attack. ie. Bears, Mountain Lion, Puma, Leopards, etc. Good Luck!

You have to get better medals on the previous levels....character has to be a certin level to unlock the next area

On the main screen go to 'Options'. A screen should come up listing all things such as controls, bullet cam, vibration features, sensitivity, etc. Hope my answer helped!

The 'Z' button only exists on the Wii version of this game as far as I am aware, so If you're using a wii/nunchuck combo it is the lower button on the nunchuck (also the larger button). The Mountain Lion makes no difference as to where the button is located though.

The trick is to climb the cliff after you fall off the log. To do so put the left movement stick forward and tap quickly on the button shown on the screen. Be prepared to change buttons if indicated.

You have to climb the cliff near the river
You have to cross over the log
After you kill the Pronghorn, follow your hunter sense. It will lead you across some logs and you will get to a small island. There you will see a blue light to the left (on the edge of the water). Go to the blue light and start the mallard game.
Have you found the wooden blind that overlooks the river? (wooden bridge shown in starting picture) You need to climb the hill to find that first. After you arrive at the blind, keep traveling to your left, along the side of the river. No need to go on blind. When you get down to the other side, you will need to cross two log bridges. Then you will be told to go to the other side of the island. Good Luck!
I just normally re do missions so I get experience from killing other predators the when you reach the right level for that level you may continue on you're missions.
Follow the signs. If you do you should see what looks like a wooden lookout. Go past it. Next, I think you have to cross a narrow log that you have to balance on. After that you come up on a bridge made of two logs. Go across and head to the left. You should hear the satellite guys voice telling where to go. After that you will see a blue circle. Go to it. Press the interact button to play the mini-game.
Follow the in game instructions and it will tell you how to get there.
Alternatively Unlock level 2 then quit and select the mallard duck hunt from the mission select screen.

There is no lion in Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 at all. This may be thought because one of the leopards may have been mistaken for the mountain lion mentioned and defeated in Level 1, as they look very similar in appearance when they attack the hunter.

There is no fishing in Caleba's Big Game Hunter 2010. That's why you hunt big game. If it were a fishing game, it would be called something like Cabela's Ultimate Fishing Challenge 2010.
There is no fishing part in Big Game Hunter 2010, unless the PS3 version has it. X360 does not have it.

I used the shot gun, and after the cut scene I aimed toward the left of screen a little to aim at the lion easier,shot him once then had to push buttons since he attacked and shot him again.

Shots % is added to the score as well. If you are killing at least 1 duck with every shot you'll get 100% and more points, if you can kill 2 or more in a shot or two you'll get more points at the end. Use a shotgun with more ammo capacity as well. More shots means more points. Also, the ducks KINDA appear in waves, so reload after each wave to fill your clip and get maximum kills.
I think it's about 34 and you hit gold. accuracy always helps, too. the lower the accuracy, the lesser the points.
You need to kill 40 ducks. I know because I did it before
Be happy with a silver and move on.

Get it in the "C" "select firearms" when in the mission. It is in either the light or heavy rifle (light?), once unlocked.
I just got to rank 10 and it said I unlocked it dont listen to these other bozos!

Make sure you have a good hold and the the ice cracks a bit before attempting to put the next pick in.
The letters of the buttons will appear on the screen. keep pressing the buttons that correspond with those on the screen
At the top of the screen when you are hanging on the side of the Cliff it will say a-b-or c press repeatedly the letter may change as your pressing change to that letter fast good luck
Like you I have the same problem. I press the letters it shows at the top and I still fall. I press and hold and fall, I press and release and fall. I switch as soon as I see a different letter and fall. You use this several times so would really like to figure it out. I use a controller in one hand and numchuck in the other. Can someone explain, it is frustrating.
Keep tapping the buttons it shows you on the screen FAST and be prepared to switch buttons. Same deal as fighting off the mountain lion. Make sure you have the stick fwd to go up at the same time.

Good Q I was stuck there for a while too you have to get to rank experience 13
Get more experience points by finding cover during your kills and finding the animals tracks. a good way to do this is kill the animal first..do not tag it....then run around the area looking for tracks using your hunters sense..then when you find them, restart the mission and you know where to look for them before killing the animal. remember if you see tracks and you are unable to examine them, that means you either already killed the animal or you haven't got to that animal yet. remember where those tracks are and look for them next time. build your points and go for gold. (heart shots)

Idk I beat level 12 - 1 in four hours I dont know if they game is over or what not
I saw on here that theere is 20 levels.I'm done with the 12 and belive I need to get more experience points. Find more cover spots and tracks,shoot animal closer,and with a smaller caliber gun. This may help I'm gonna try it or see if I can get better medals and see what hapens.
A2 is wrong, there are 12 levels and you go up to 25 ranks.

Get the shotgun and kill him AS FAST AS YOU CAN: It gave me a gold medal for this.
Back away & keep shooting! As you keep backing & running in circles, you can get off better shots! We had to shoot him like 5 times! Any gun works.
You can also use cross bow
4 shots with the shotgun will kill any of the predators.
Keep on the move. Never walk in straight line it makes it easier for the bear to get you. Make sure to use the shotgun. Make sure you know where the bear is. (its very unfortunate to get attacked from behind) Since reloading the shotgun takes longer than rifles, make every shot count. If the bear happens to jump on you continually tap the button it shows on screen until you get the bear off. (you should know this from level 1 with the mountain lion.)
Use the crossbow and fight him off, it took me a min but I finally got it
Three clips full of 44 Magnum did it for me and I like it better for close quarters - easier to aim and I didnt use the B button at the time.

You people are idiots that's all I can say all these question are so easily figured out first learn to look and walk. use hunter sense mode alot to get bearings . don't forget to crouch when near animals. when you see a yellow animal in the center of your top screen stop moving and wait until it goes green again. always use hunter sense to find all cover points and animal signs to get extra points for a better chance at getting a gold medal. make sure to hit the heart when scoped in. HINT LOOK AT THE WINDOW THAT HAS THE INFO ON TARGET WHEN ZOOMED IN WITH SCOPE. WHEN YOU HAVE A GOLD MEDAL SHOOT. don't forget to find mini games because they add to your chance of gold medals
Use the shotgun an use evasive manuevers.
Tap the button it shows rapidly to throw the mountian lion off and then shoot him. Use the shotgun seems to work better
Switch to the shotgun.you don't have to be as accurate with it and you can shoot more than 1 round quickly.
I Recomened using the first shotgun and the 44 Magnum. For some reason it drops predators in the game. Actualy try using a shotgun in the real worl and you will make them mad! Don't shoot the bears in the head at all, it does nothing but make them mad!
If you equip a shotgun before the hunt, its easier. if you shoot it and injure it, it keeps coming back. when he jumps on you, pound the button it shows to get it of of you. keep shooting and it will eventually die. I felt like being an idiot and faced it with a crossbow. killed it on first try, its alot harder but it will most of the time give you a gold medal if you kill a pred with a crossbow.
As soon as you can move to the left, move once the lion runs past you take aim and shoot. You may also have to back up to get some distance between you and the cat.

I killed the mountain lion in three tries...my husband has tried for 3 days.....Shotgun...walk slowly to the rock...slower approach...when you feel the WII gun vibrate that means the lion is starting it's approach...when you can....back up until the sight comes in and shoot all shots...reload
Right before it pounces strafe left or right. It will stop for a sec and you can shoot it. Otherwise, once you press appropriate button to throw lion off of you, quickly scope and shoot. Location of shot doesn't matter. Number of shots missed and larger weapons are what lower your score.

Yes you can. you punch the letter that comes up repeatedly.at the same time you do go upward on the nut cluck joy stick at the same time upward do this all at the same time.till you get to the top. you have to be fast & watch closely.
Continually tap the button on the screen. Make sure you don't tap the wrong button. Even one wrong tap can make you fall and you do not need to push the nunchuk up. Make sure you fast too!

Shoot him when he attacks to wound him, then keep shooting when he backs away. Fight off his attacks when he jumps on you by rapidly pressing the indicated button, then when he backs off and starts circling you find him and shoot him some more. You have to shoot the mountain lion several times to kill him.
You can kill faster by shooting it in the head.

When he goes to attack...dont move wait for him to attack so that way you can fight him! If you move he is more likely going to damage u. after fighting him and he is laying on the groung aim at his liver/spine/heart area to get higher integrity score. Shooting him in the head kills faster but causes a lower score. Shotgun is the same it lowers the score but kills faster. Also if you aim while you shoot I believe it helps raise the score.
When the mountain lion jumps on you, it will show a button to push to get him off of you. When you push down the button, dont hold it the whole time, push and release it quickly and keep doing that until the lion gets pushed off you. It took me forever to kill him because I was holding the button down the whole time and he would keep killing me. So when he jumps on you, the screen will flash a letter of a button to push, either B, C, A, or Z. Just remember to push and release it over and over. Hope this helps.
On the Wii... use the shotgun, when the lion jumps on you quickly tap the button indicated at the top of the screen to throw the lion off then finish him off with the shotgun!
I just completed this level - I finally figured out, if you move to the right as soon as the mountain lion comes at you it will stun him (as he rams his head into the rocks) and allow you more time to prepare your shot. But as the others mentioned, you have to shoot him a lot for the kill.

Keep on the move. Make sure you know where he is. When he charges move out of the way at the last second. It will miss and stop for a moment. Shoot it when you know your going to hit it. Don't waste bullets shooting at nothing. Make sure you use either the shotgun or the bow gun or whatever you call it. if it jumps on you continually press the button that shows on the screen. DO NOT HOLD THE BUTTON! If you do you'll become the mountain lions next meal.
