Use a shot gun. When you cross the last log and the Leopards start coming for you, back up towards the rock on your left. Keep your eye on the middle leopard and soot him. It took me about five tries to figure it out and kill him. The other ones will Just be gone. You'll get a gold medal with this method.

You do need to find the tracks. As you're headed to hunt the lion and the game stops you to tell you about the rabbit mini game, head almost directly to your right and you will find them. It also helps to use a low caliber weapon like the 44 magnum or the crossbow if you have unlocked it.

Use the cross bow. I killed it four times, got a gold medal each time. If you look into your objectives you'll see there is a challenge to use the cross bow to kill the bear.

Use the shotgun.
Be prepared to shoot when the mountain lion steps off the third rock. If you miss and it lands on you, repeatedly and quickly press the letter that appears above the head of the lion until he is thrown off. Then you get another chance to shoot him. Keep repeating this procedure until he is finally dead.
Stay in the Middle of the opening and keep your hunter sense on. Also use a 30-06. With the hunter sense on, you can tell where he is coming from, dodge him, turn around and shoot him once. He will then run off... Keep repeating procedure and after the 4th time or so, I finally killed him.

I stay in the open area/ cleared area. While using the nunchucks keep the hunter sense button pressed. It is the bottom button on the Nunchuck some say it's the "Z" button. Hunt with a 30-06, while you have the hunter sense on, you are able to see where the cougar is at. When it comes towards you, dodge it, turn around and shoot it. It will then run off, get back to the clear area, turn the hunter sense on and repeat the process. To shoot I use the "B" button on the wii remote. Located underneath the top part of the remote. After the fourth time or so, I finally killed it. Hope this helps.

How do you kill the puma?
Two words: SHOT GUN
If you want a gold medal, use the crossbow. you'll have to fight him off, but stay with it and you'll win. If you use the shot gun you probably wont get any medals

This is caused when you tilt the gun to the right or left like turning a dial. This is how you get your "HUNTER SENSE." Try it in the levels. It's great!
