There are a few char's in the game that have a portait in the corner, these are simply *important* char's, .. only about 112 char's in total are collectible, and only 108 of those are possible at one time, .. but on to the answer at hand, . . to get every char, is a long journey through vally's and mountains, fighting evil bosses and many monsters ^.^

Just put the gamesahrk cd in your psx sysitem, and select "new code". put the name of your game (in this case suikoden II), then search for it and select it, select "new cheat" or so, and put a name for your code in the upper line (it can be either name, put the one that you think that suits better for "x" code), then in the points at the left write the code, after all this select "exit and save", then press "x" on the code or so (the thing is to mark the code, in other words, the name of your code must become yellow, and press "start", open the CD lid, remove the gameshark cd, and put the game cd (suikoden II please, and donīt turn off the console, just wait ^^), i`m sorry if someone donīt understood me, I donīt really speak english.
