NBA Live 10
Guy I know what you mean... I've been playing Live for three years running and 2010 is freakin unbelievably tough to beat in Superstar setting.
I have a hell of a time even scoring a bucket.
I've tried trapping on the pick'n rolls, I've also tried cranking up the tempo on offense, and crashing the boards for defense. Get burned all the time.
You've really got to play like every possession counts in this mode, I usually use the circle button to double team a player when they get really hot and start hitting a lot of shots. I use the player I control to stay in front of the opponent, and the computer help to put the pressure on. Careful not to let the AI beat you to the basket. This usually slows them down, but you still can get beat by them passing out of the double team...

Try 2,3 zone ..it sort of slows them down. but you have to score everytime you stop them!
Use your player who's the weak side on a help defense. Let the computer play one on one defense on the ball handler if you have problems on playing Defense. Another Tip, have your Center on the Free throw area or on the shaded area. It works 80%.
Try a 1-3-1 zone
There's a really big secret to this game! Do you remember a few years back when you knew that a defender was too short to worry about your shot being off? The principle still applies today! If you get a tall enough defender on the problem guy, no matter if he shoots the ball in your face, if you can jump even after the shot is released without fouling him then he'll have more of a chance of missing but make sure you get the rebound! All you have to do is go to create a player and and create your player, but him on a team, save your rosters, and that should be all you need (but if you download the rosters on line and overwrite your rosters your created player will have to be put back on a team.
To create a player you have to go to the create player section of the menu. then you can create your player.
I think you go on team management then click create player

Denver Nuggets by far, Billips,Smith,Anthony all can drive when going west and all can pop threes in halfcourt offense when going east., Plus Anderson and Nene are bigtime big men. The starting five(if you dump Keyon Martin and add Chris Anderson) all have ratings of 80 or better!

I'm sorry to say but there is not an all star weekend in the game, and hopefully it will be in the next NBA live.

To get to an all-star weekend you have to go into dynasty mode and you play games into the month of February. Once you get into February you can do an all-star weekend
