I have searched the crime scene in case 5, and Ray keeps trying to give me hints on what to do next, but Catherine won't let me leave. She keeps saying she want's to finish looking at the scene. I have already looked everywhere. What now?

I'm doing Case 1, "Broken Hearted", and I'm stuck because it tells me I've finished investigating the crime scene suite, and I still need to investigate the strip club... I can't get into Kathy's apartment... what do I have to do? Thanks!

At the club there is a tissue on the counter with her blood on it you have to get that then compare it to the other blood samples

What evidence can I get in the strip club in the 1st chapter?

A1:

You can get several fingerprints off the chair that he was sitting in when she did the lap dance for him. After she leaves you can go back and get the tissue she was using when she was crying as well.

There are 3 finger prints and 1 hand/palm print on the chair.

What evidence can I obtain from the boiler room?

Nothing to find there..they only backdrop or dummy prop. They try to confuse you..

There are a few things in the boiler room! Go to the vent along the floor.... you won't get everything at once, you will have to come and go as you find other clues and compare stuff at the lab......
1) caulk on furnace
2) a print in the paste on furnace pipe
3) fingernail (with infection)
4) take mold of chisel marks
5) gas can
6) From gas can you will need a sample of the gas AND there is a fingerprint

Stuck with kathy in interrogation. after asking her if she saw lynn after she was killed, and showing her the ashtray she says anyone could have put it in her apartment but does not offer to give me a cell phone. Help please.?

I have all six pieces for the ashtray. The ashtray is completed, then why can I not retrieve the ashtray?

How do I retrieve the glass from the bottom of his shoe in the 1st chapter?

You have to get him into the interrogation room before he gives up the shoe.

Bring him in for questioning. in the interrogation room you will get an option to ask him for his shoes, when he gives them examine them and pick up the glass piece.

You have to interrogate Kathy and present her with the ashtray. She'll end up giving you a story about Charlie killing Lynn. You'll also get her cell phone. Go to the lab, compare the cell phone message from Charlie to the second-to-last segment of the 911 call to get a voice confirmation. This will unlock a warrant from Brass. Present the cell phone to Brass and he'll issue the warrant. The shoe is given to you during the questioning.

I've presented the piece of glass to Kathy, but she's not buying it. I even tried the blood from her shower, and that piece of evidence was scoffed at.

I am also stuck. I have all of the pieces to the ashtray but the one in the boot. How do I get boots from charlie to get the glass? And is there any finger prints on the ashtray?

A1:

Yes there is a fingerprint on the ashtray. You have to get that last piece first though. Once you have ALL of the ashtray, get the print, its on the back of the ashtray.

I have found the glass piece in Kate's closet but I used it to reconstract the ashtray and now, in the interogation room, there is no evidence of it when I ask her about the ashtray. What should I do in order to make her give me the phone number that I need to continue the case? In the case file, I have the ashtray but I cannot find anywere something that tells that I found the particular piece in her closet.

Have you got the whole ashtray put together yet? If so, you need to find a fingerprint on it. Otherwise keep talking to Kathy until she gives you more information.
