Okay,it may be hard to kill it but I killed tow of them at once.....first, you equip the assault riffle gun....try to be as away as possible and fire at it.when it get close enough,press L1 and push the left analog stick left or right to avoid it.if it inflict much damage to you,use the healing skill.
There is a spot on the left side of the bones against the wall. There are two tree like things and some plants. If you go behind there, the big cat can't see you or get to you and you can just shoot away!
The strategy that worked for me is use the grenade launcher and then the nail gun,now finish it off with any gun of your choice -Answer by:ps3 man 27334
Just fire away, and use the genetic regenerator skill if you're low on health. dodging won't help as the thanator will just keep pushing you away. use the grenade launcher 5 times and then use a gun with loads of ammo. hope this tactic helped
I had trouble too.
The thanator in my game got stuck in a corner and I just fired grenades at it (mega glitch).
Probably won't work so use some other guys idea!

Just shoot until it gets close, then dodge try using a grenade luancher but don't stray far from the a-pod (little yellowish red flashing thing) then get to the rib cage and hide there cause it might get confused.use a nail gun ore the other big machine gun

There is a spike ball on the island with the fire weed hit the spike ball with your bow and arrow then you can go get the fire weed and give it to Big B.
Go towards the mark on your map and when you come to a ledge shoot the spike ball by the vines then you can get across
Use you re arrow and fire it on the spike ball and it shod move and make a platform for u
Follow the directions on your map and when you finally find the plant, there will be a type of spike around the rocks. Use your bow 'n' arrow and aim at that spike and hit it once you hit it the rocks will move which will create a number of platforms for you to walk/jump across and once you have the plant give it to Beydamo.

Thers a time in the game when you have to climb the floating mountain. From there you can chose any banshee, unlike the movie, and ride any one.

When you look at the compass you should see a yellow dot follow to were that is and look up on top of the rocks in the sky and you should look around for a orange thing and hit the rock with an arrow.

Climb up on a vine, and look for the tracks when your on a high branch. Get in the middle of the tracks(still on the branch where you have to climb a vine to get too) and wait until the demolisher truck thing (lol) is directly under you.jump off the branch and if correct you'll land smack in the middle. Use your club/blades/arrow/ on four of its corners, taking out something I forgot what it was.
You go all the way around the tree in and out untill you find a vibration and then try and get to the hardest vibration then it will say you can press traingle and you need to repeat 3 times for 1 tree
Just run around and when the ground vibrates heaps you should be able to place them using triangle
There is an easier way to do it than the vibration. In the first tree it has three patches of brown dirt on the ground with nothing else put the shards in all three. Like wise you can use the vibration to find the first one then look for something that looks similar for the remaining two

Ok, there are two rocks that are tangled in vines that you see when you look straight ahead when facing the rocks. Look between these. U should see a small round plant, with spikes and a glowing orange circle around it. Shoot it, and wah-la

Instead of using a gun, I use the sword things (the double ones). I was constantly getting killed until I did that because they come up on your quickly.
Stay back from the beast and get it with a bow or crossbow.( I used the crossbow and it was very fast and easy)
The creature is called a thanator, the best way to kill it as a na'vi is to use pandora's union and find it. then your going to want to shoot it with crossbow until all your darts are gone. the wait for it to lunge, dodge out of the way, and get behind it with your dual blades of staff. then it'll turn around again, dodge and shoot with your bow. remember: it's good to have whirl of fury and pandora's protection skills along with heal.
Use your blend thing to sneak up on him then attack.
Use swords and hack away. use healing skill.
If your avatar use dual blade or bow fully striged if your human greade gun till death
Winslow..has a lot of soldiers yous your invisible skill to sneak up gards and if you finde him yous your sword to kill him fast....
When you are nere the gate ... yous your invisible skill so you can snike pass gards..and yous your melee weapon to kill him fast before even the gard finds out.......

No....if you read the story in the very beginning of the game it tells you that the game is set two years before the movie.
You cannot get to the home tree on the RDA faction because it is not on the travel map and besides no weapon or vehicle is that powerful.

Absolutely navi. even though rda have long range weapons navi have stronger weapons and it is more easy in my opinion

Idk. I Like RDA because they have more an advantage for wide open spaces to kill navi for away but the Navi has more powerful wepons and can blend to sorta.

You need to find shards, three of them and go to a willow tree. Walk around the willow tree area and a triangle will pop up. Do this three times, this plants the shards and teaches you part of a song where this lady will have you say when you return to Home Tree

Switch your weapon to the spiked club thing and jump in the air and attack at the same time. it knocks them on there butts.
What you do is you keep moving behind them, they turn slow, then use melee wepeons NOT RANGED
Use your club to knock them on thier faneys and geet doing it.
Just go behind the big rock and let your health recharge or go up on the bridge and use ranged weapons
Use your skill for health and then to sneak up on him use the inviable skill
There are a few dozers lying about there, equip your avatar machine-gun and keep circling slowly around one of the dozers while firing at them
The easiest thing to do, is jump on 1 of the bulldozers. on very top, if they all, are underneath you cant shoot you.... they just shoot wall. grap your gun and blast away.
When the tree robots are geting near you. yous the paralizing skill to paralize them at decame time and yous your double sword to kill them all at ones..............
You can also run like hell alot and wait for your skills to recharge and then use pandora's union and hit it with the club

Answer Video Do you see the giant bones use them if the cat thing gets to close for your comfort dodge in betwean the ribs and shoot through them and repeat if it keeps geting close and if you run out of amo change invisible and get the amo then get back to the giant rids as quik as possible
Some people say to get far away from it and shoot. But all I did in the predator's den was run in between the big bones and shoot it with my assault rifle and my dual wasps.

Climb the stuff (kinda like in the movie) and keep going until you find and mount your banshee. Use your checkpiont marker and ride to him.

Mount the banshee waiting for you at Imswota camp. It has an orange glowing circle around it. And once you are mounted, the next quest will appear on map.

No, but near the end you can join the Na'vi. The problem is your still human.
Go new game and when you are in blue lagoon do not hit the avatar shoot your commander and there you are in the avatar tame
