You have to create the player and save your roster than go back to season mode.
Just get someone really bad on the freeagent pool (make sure he is a fake player) and get him on your team, then edit him
Ok go to features then go to roster control then go to the team you want him on then go to the free agents and find your player in there then switch out a player and when you go to season he'll be there or when your done createing your player if you press x then it will say say something like would you like to send this player to the free agent pool then press ok im saying the secand part because if you press triangle then it wont work
Create a player first, then start your season
I had the same problem and I could only make 2 people then I couldnt do anymore but you have to save then load your roster after you create someone and if that doesnt work then take a suckish guy and customize him to your liking

You upgrade tour players but it will only let you throw a 99 fastball
Go onto Classic pitching mode instead of Meter and pump somebodys fastball velocity up to 95 or higher
Be a good pitcher, I do it all the time.
Go and edit one of the players and turn the speed all the way up on a 4sfb
Turn the speed up on all your players fastballs in edit player to 99MPH, even though it's only 99, they will still throw 100 MPH most of the time.

Have the best players of every position. I have won 2 world series because of that out of 2 seasons.
Go to free agents and get people like nolan ryan cy young babe ruth
Have every good player in a position and go to gameplay sliders and put everything on 0 for CPU and put everything up for user and you will win every single game and don't trade anybody to any team

In Franchise mode you can go to your sceduale and then you click on any HOME game and on the 2nd to last option should be a promotion you can sceduale if you have a positive amount of money, the easiest is the free ticket night for no cost at all

Yes, but you will need a wi-fi connection. I would suggest buying a router so you can go online. My MLB 2005 game has online, so im sure the show does too.

After spring training you go to AA but they give you goals and if you do these goals you go to AAA and you will get new and harder goals and if you do those goals you go to the majors, and my advice on the contract you sign go for the first save then try to go for 10 yrs. and go for the lowest price in this game money doesnt mader and if they say no then turn game off or leave and come back into they agree I did this and it worked im with the philleis for 5 yrs

You create the player then go to roster control click on the team you want him to be on then go to free agents find & click on your player then choose a player you dont want to be on the team and hes on the team.

First of all, make your player a third baseman or shortstop if you wanna get the max possible starting power attribute points.Make your player a center fielder for the most possible max speed and contact. Basically I started out with a third baseman and it was awesome. I have my stats up in the 70's and 80's now and im a starter for the phillies! So I think the best way to get max stats is to start with a center fielder or third baseman or shortstop to get a hunk of attribute points in some areas and also to get lots of hits to get extra points. Well of course! All you have to do is just make good plays in the minors and you will be in the mlb in a few months (rtts season games) but you will be there

Well ,you gotta put the age at 20 or more and then succeed your goals, cause if you put the age to 18 or 19 , he wont get promoted fast, you'll have to play 2 complete seasons in the minors before you get to ML. Also gain a lot of points and improve yourself so you can get promoted.
