Click home button and go back to the game
Well if you literally mean restart the game, you have to hold a,b,x, and y all at the same time. if that doesn't work, try holding L and R
When the game is starting up, hold down the x a b and y and it'll ask if you want to delete the saave file , hit yes and it'll start it over
