How come Descent: Freespace: The Great War won't install to my hard drive, but it still saves? Is there some sort of seperate folder on my PC that the information saves to? If so, where can it be found? I need it to use the FRED system. Sadly, I can't make any mission without knowing where the data can be located.

As the long war between the Terrans and the alien Vasudans continues on, another, more powerful species threatens both with annihilation. Your Terran unit of the space armada is once again called to action as the last, best hope of mankind. Strap into your space fighter, check your weapon load-out, and kiss the wife good-bye, because you may not return from the reaches of FreeSpace. The 29 missions outline a fairly believable military campaign that culminates in a memorable effort to halt the Shivans once and for all.
