Nah don't listen to A1 listen to this one.Get some moldy meats and fish at digicatfish,u will see it will attract them and they will bite easily.Also for digiseabass they get attracted by digicatfish.

You need to get shellmon in your town and you need to have beat warumozaemon in toy town
Go back to toy town and talk to the tankmon that is circling on the left (dont worry he doesnt attak you)
he should say about the lake guardian
then go to the dragon eye lake (the bit at the south where you see the fish as if the camera was in the grass behind your character)
cast your rod to the left between the shadow of the tallest pole and the bucket and wait
take lots of meats and at some time you should see a big shadow (bigger than any other) it might take a few tries but let it nibble on your bait for a bit then pull it in
be gentle with it and then when you get it if you want to go to beetle land ask it to be your freind.....
