Every time that I get the white screen when I'm in Winslow Bank, I hear some girl's voice then I can't do anything else after. Y?

I am stuck on the level where XIII has to escort General Carrington to helicopter. At the point where two guys (i believe there should be more guys but game spawns only two) come from above on the right side (just to make clear which place I am refering to - there is a tank behind them), I kill those two guys but nothing happens after that i.e. game gets stuck. General Carrington does not move ahead. When I try to search around for more enemies somebody shoots General Carrington. I have even tried to replay the game from a couple of previous save points but same thing happens. Any solutions?
